I am an Australian, living in the Philippines. I am 38, married and have one fabulous daughter, Ariel. I am a positive person who rarely stops smiling and love having fun with friends. I currently swap fabric postcards and found this site that looks like big fun. Until recently I was working full time , I am a nurse, and found it hard to find enough time to be creative and experiment with all my boxes of 'fiddly bits'. I am not working now and am enjoying being far more creative, my table is covered with bits of fabric, cottons and beads! I am addicted to chocolate and love cheesecake.

I like listening to a wide variety of music, depending on my mood - pop and cheezy music for the housework, jazz on Sundays, classical if I'm feeling moody. I love to see live music performed and wish I could play the guitar.

I read like crazy, 2 or 3 books a week. I dont have a favorite book, I have loved so many but I tend to prefer historical fiction, always with strong female characters and a bit of romance. I miss librarys.

Over the years I have tried all sorts of crafts but my real passion is fabric and textile craft and I keep coming back to that. I like embellishing with beads, buttons and anything shiney.

I am currently living in the Philippines and have found the post to be a little slow, so please be patient waiting for mine - I will always try to post out as early as possible before the due date.
