Update 4/18/13.... I am still here, just not 100% yet. I will be popping in to say hi and check in with groups and pals. Not swapping as much with the next month or two. Want to get myself and the house in check. :)

Hello there. I'm JEss. Mom of two--to one boy, and one girl. Married to my guy that I have loved since high school (we never dated back then). Owner of the most sheddable dog I've ever seen. ( He's part corgi/part bichon.)

I have allergies: contact allergies to Pine and Ginger. So no scrubs or items containing those two ingredients for me.

Craft Interests : I like to smash, craft rolos, make envies, make matchboxes, attempt mail art, and enjoy altering things like boxes, tins, books...I do occasionally make atc's and journal as well. I am a novice sewer by hand of felties, still do counted cross stitch on occasion, and try what tickles my fancy.

Art By Others : I love anything handmade by anyone. Cards, layouts, boxes, any medium. Photo, hand drawn, stamped. I'm not too picky. The only thing I ask is that you try to do your best.

If you ever want to swap, let me know. I will do private swaps on occasion. If there is something you'd like to try or are new, I don't mind.

• Kawaii. I grew up loving Little Twin Stars and My Melody. Then in my tweens I fell in love with Tuxedo Sam and Badtz Maru. Now I am a fan of Sentimental Circus, most food with faces, and anything monster/zombie/ghost. I also adore the fairy tale sets. My all time favorite right now is any matroyshka or woodland styles and Sentimental Circus. And there is always room in my heart for Keropi.

• Halloween is my favorite holiday. I like the more gothic type items, but I have kids and dd is terrified.(So I have to settle for cute).

Favorite Books : include mystery, classic horror by Poe, Frankenstein, Dracula, and such, also some sci-fi and fantasy.

Favorite movies/tv : I love the old spaghetti westerns with Eastwood especially (thanks dad), old war movies (thanks mom), Twin Peaks all time fave, Classic Star Trek and newer Trek, Battlestar Gallactica the original not the new, CSI all of them, Witchblade, Highlander, you get the idea. Movies all time faves are Big Trouble in Little China and Escape from New York (yeah I seem to like Kurt), also Labrynth, Pump Up the Volume, Hudson Hawk, and any other odd quirky films. I can watch anything except really scary horror.

Favorite Music : My favorite band is Steppenwolf. I love Snowblind Friend, and The Pusher the most. Close second Metallica. While I can listen to pop, alternative, classical, ... Heavy Metal will always be my first love. Country my least. Although I do like older Tucker songs and Cash.

Dislikes :

• Sour candy: Although the packaging is often cool I would not, could not eat it from a bottle, nor a box, in a spray, or a tin....

Collections : I collect all kinds of things, but really love ornaments and bookmarks. Store bought, handmade, give-aways, I never mind if it's one of these two collections. I also collect toy keychains like Lego, Fisher Price, Potato Head, and novelty ones like that.

Projects : I'm working on the Disney albums and hopefully the school albums for the kids.

Allison's Likes : She is all about the pink and bling still, but has grown into liking the Monster High stuff right now. She likes giraffes and pandas. She likes easy kids drawing books. She likes dry embossing with the metal templates. She adores San Rio Kawaii. She still likes her Littlest Pet Shop critters. She enjoys a good book--coloring book :). She is now a fan of Legos as well.

Nathan's Likes : He is now a tween at 12. He's big into Legos. He likes to have random pcs to build his own creations. He also likes the minifigs and sets like Ninjago and the Black Pearl. He has an iPod and a DS and loves his video games. He likes to collect glass or carnival glass type animals. He likes the sharks, dragons, lizards right now for that.
