About Me

Hi! I'm Jen...I'm 40-something, separated-waiting to be divorced, living life back in my hometown just north of Pittsburgh,PA ...Go Steelers! I thought this might be a great way to meet nice people, make some crafts and have some fun!

I love my dogs. The pic on my profile is my Jezzie, and she has a brother Buddy. Jez was adopted from a Tennessee humane society and Buddy found us and we rescued him from a life of abuse and living in a field. I spoil them every chance I get!

Favorite Crafts

My favs are crocheting & card making. I also like to do paper-crafts, paper quilling, scrapbooking, etc. I love shopping for paper and card supplies. I also love to shop for yarn....My newest craft is cross stitch- I'm not very good yet but i'm trying!

Favorite Television

I am so Loving Mad Men & Burn Notice. I've also been getting into The Mentalist & In Plain Sight I also like watch: craft shows, DIY Channel, Frasier, NCIS, House, Law & Order, and just about anything on Lifetime.

Other Things to know...

I love wolves!!!! Just about anything nature... I wish I could live in a log cabin someday and be close to nature. My surroundings are decorated with wolves, bears, moose, etc...Even my kitchen is done in "Naturewood".Spring and fall are my favorite times of the year. My screen name comes from my love of the midnight sky,planets, moons and stars.I love reading, playing with my dogs, spoiling them rotten, taking walks with them(when I can). I love the colors of fall, burgundy is my favorite color, love seafood, diet pepsi, baking when I cannot sleep, diner food, mom's cooking, thunderstorms, and, oh, my comfort foods are diet pepsi, homemade cut-out cookies, homemade mac&cheese, chocolate and coffee!

Wishlist

Writing/Office- notecards, fun pens, mechanical pencils, lined writing paper, envies, blank cards.

Kitchen- recipe cards 4x6", recipe card covers, tea towels, oven mitts, odd utensils, chopsticks, kebab skewers, funky ice cubes or trays, iced tea spoons, photo magnets for fridge.

Paper Crafts/ Scrapbooking- textured papers, blank cards to stamp, ink pads, brads, stickers, patterned ribbon, embellishments.

Other Wonders & Wishes- a good used mystery book, links to good free crochet pattern sites, chocolate-dark, milk, with nuts with caramel, anything but white chocolate, anything hand(heart)-made, coffees, sudoku , $ store surprises ,anything with wolves...yarns, etc.

Dislikes

Spiders, bugs, bees- flying or biting things...Sharks, jellyfish, bats...cherubs, gnomes coconut, butterscotch, maple...floral scents.
