I used to work in the creative department of an advertising agency before I decided to be a Momma. My daughter just turned 1, and is the total and complete light of my life... (My husband is pretty darn fabulous too, he's my saviour!)

I am influenced by clean design, fashion and the simple things in life. I enjoy taking photographs, (Lomo, digital, polaroids, 35mm and with old cameras I have lying around waiting for their turn to be used) writing stories, drawing, painting, making little creative things out of felt and buttons. Traveling to Europe specifically France and Italy, has been life changing for me. I find myself drawn to these areas for many reasons.

Green (on the lighter side) is, and always has been my favorite color - I also like dark browns and deep dark and powder blues. It's funny how you like one color over the other isn't it? I mean, I don't care for pinks and reds or, primary colors at all - it probably explains why I don't enjoy ruffles and girlie stuff. I like plain or striped patterns. No flowery stuff, or "cutesy" anything for this Momma! I am more of a tom-boy for absolute sure ~

I love photography, video games, architecture and the history behind a beautiful old building, statue or small hidden town. I am an avid patio gardener and, plant many flowers and veggies in pots and enjoy this oasis with a small table and chairs in the middle of it all. I love table cloths and napkins from the 40's and 50's. Embroidered anything is just the best. Vintage is my #1 concentration and true love!!

I am a big-time antique collector, and as a result I am a flea-market visitor. You never know what treasure you can find and it's so cool when you do! I enjoy collecting stamps I receive from other countries so, if you happen to be able to please use actual stamps when sending things to me! (Thanks!)

Billie Holiday is my fav, but I like it all... (Except for that music that upsets your insides when you listen to it.) I love older swing music and, big band stuff too, but, also Queen, Prince, VH, Chris Cornell, and piano anything! Big range you could say... :)

I am pretty much a tom-boy...

• I don't like pink, purple, teal or any primary colors
• Nothing cute, including Hello Kitty, Kawaii or Anime (sorry!)
• No flowery or ruffley things
• Incense or anything with a smell to it.....
• I can't stand "fake" Vintage, you know the stuff! ;)
• Gold or, gold color
• Country style stuff
• Disney or Warner Brothers, I could do without! I guess now that I mention it, anything with cartoon characters. Gesh, I'm a grouch! Can I stop myself?

I am sorry if I seem difficult and perhaps out of the norm, but I can't help it, I'm well into my 30's and, stuck in my ways...!

• I also paint a bit, so paints or canvas' are always helpful
