Hi Folks!

For the time being ... I ask that any partners of any swaps I have been in in the last 2/3 weeks to be forgiving. I was involved in an accident and am still recovering. My son, who is not the most responsible bloke, had been asked to mail what was on the table for me ... and when I came home ... it was still there. God bless his blank expression when I turned on him for surely I would have cuffed him.

I'm Chris and I live in NH. I'm mother to five incredible kids. Two boys and three girls. My boys are 19 and 3. My girls are 17, 13 and 11. They keep me hopping.

I love to read, crochet, knit and sew. I really enjoy thread and 100% cotton crocheting. Bookmarks are my favorite gifst to give ... along with a book or two.

I enjoy meeting new people ... so if you want to email ... or invite me to join a swap ... let me know. :)

I'm into alternative and indie music ... old rock n roll. I love music in all it's forms and enjoy working with local bands in promotion.

I'm a huge Nora Roberts / JD Robb fan, but I'll read anything that grabs my interest. The poetry of Maya Angelou moves me.

I enjoy all types of movies ... especially the ones my kids drag me to, but I draw the line at horror and scary stuff.

Offbeat movies like Borat, Superbad and Grind. I love to laugh and have developed a warped sense of humor.

CSI Miami, House, NCIS, World's Dumbest ...

Family Guy has been added to my agenda. :) Quagmire is hilarious!!!

I really don't watch much ... it's mostly just background noise.

Crocheting is my passion. I took up knitting for a new outlet, but can't seem to get past the scarf stage. I tried socks, but was easily frustrated. If anyone can point me in the right direction there, I'd appreciate it. I sew much of my own clothing and do alterations for friends.

I would love to learn to quilt, make cards, and fuse glass. I would also like to learn more about ATCs and dotee dolls. If anyone reading my profile is a maker of either, if you would like to help me learn, I would be forever in your debt.

I love all things pertaining to and of India. It's the one place in the world I wish to visit and experience. My best friend is Hindu/Penjabi and I have grown to love this far away land. I would dearly love anything to add to my special display case of India ... charms, cards, things relating to their special holiday called Diwali (which will be celebrated on October 17th of this year).

My favorite colors are purple, green, orange and teal.

I love all things unique and individual. It's something I've always encouraged in myself and my children. Handmade anything will be loved and displayed in my home always.

I collect elephants and miniature perfumes. My house is decorated tip to tile in grapes and ivy.

I love postcards from anywhere and snail mail is a serious passion. I love to receive letters and cards in the mail. It's like a present.

I have a serious love of paper, stationery and cards. I gift them constantly to encourage others to write and I'm famous for overcommunicating. :)
