I'm a mother of one fantastic 28 year old daughter. I'm a motorcycle rider, foodie, painter, sculptor....I play bass guitar and I love the quirky, unusual and beautiful world around me.

I ran my own catering company for a few years, and now I bake/decorate cakes for fun and profit. I have two cats (mother and daughter). I spend my evenings with my wonderful, musical husband...and "creating" in my studio. I love to laugh and I am a fiercely loyal friend. I have very little tolerance for drama, and will avoid confrontation if possible.

Princess Bride, Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride, Spirited Away, 13th Warrior, LOTR (though I prefer the books), and my guilty pleasure movie is Legally Blonde. I appreciate well done horror films and would appreciate hearing about your recommendations on all films. Has anyone seen Dark Days? I'd like to have a conversation about it.

My preference is rock, but my ipod holds a bit of everything..it is the artist and song, more than the genre of music that speaks to me. My first recollection of music is The Beatles. The last artist I saw in concert was Abigail Washburn.

Painting, sculpting, knitting, baking, cooking, re-creating (re-purposing and combining items in a new way), writing, sewing, gardening....I work hard on the items I send out in swaps. I am not perfect, and appreciate honest feedback. "Creating" is my greatest joy in life (ok...after sex and chocolate it is)

My favorite colors are black, red and deep purple. I avoid pastels ...unless I am making a baby gift.

I am drawn to saturated colors....not muddy.
