I love photography, you can guarantee that I will always have a camera in my hands on the weekends. I just recently got into card making, and become a shopping addict when it comes to stamps...I just didn't realize all the different possibilites stamping has. I also love seahorses, purses, quotes, traveling around the world, and having a good glass of champagne with the perfect piece of dark chocolate.
I go through stages...right now I really love listening to Duffy - I listen to the Rockferry CD all the time. Others I like are Jason Mraz, Sara Bareilles, Ingrid Michaelson, Jack Johnson, The Pretenders, Lenny Kravitz, Elvis Costello, Squeeze, Fall Out Boy, and Sting...just to name a few. I'm always on the lookout for something new.
I'm not a SciFi person, but my new favorite show is Fringe (it must be the scientist in me). Love Hell's Kitchen. I also have to get my fair dosage of romance and comedy...Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Desparate Housewives, Bothers & Sisters.
My latest hobby is card-making. I used to scrapbook many, many years ago, but it just took too much time to complete pages, and eventually I stopped all together. I like card-making..it's a quick project, and there's always a need for a greeting card. Although, I can't tell if I like the creative part of it, or the shopping for the tools and materials more...there's so many cute stamps, I had no idea what kind of trouble I was getting myself into :-)
As far as stamping (for my cards), I seem to find myself drawn to the following... cutesy looking owls, Asian themes (especially cherry blossoms!), purses, high heel shoes/stilettos, cupcakes, Hello Kitty and anything Kawaii
Purses, Kokeshi (Japanese wooden dolls), Seahorses (trinkets, not the actual sea creature), Quotes (I love a good quote), Cameras, Photos
My favorite book is "Memoirs of a Geisha". Unfortunately, with a full time job, and two little kids, I haven't had much time to read these last couple of years, but I did make it a New Year's resolution for 2009. My first book of the year is "Eat, Pray, Love" by Elizabeth Gilbert. I'll let you know later if I liked it.
