I've received an envelope from K. Cook from MS with 3 Ad Cards in it but no user name or swap name. If they came from you, please contact me.
Wife, Mom, Friend, Volunteer. I love to cook and be creative with my daughter at her level...fifth grade...ensuring the creative side of her brain gets used to it's potential ;)
Aren't postcards the neatest things ever, a little story on each one.
I love that postcards can represent everything from culture, locations, food, animals, holidays, landmarks, objects, just about any subject that you can think of and each one is special in it's own way.
Such an inexpensive way to armchair travel, my daughter (5th) grade and I have a large world map up so we can see where each state/country is located when a new postcard arrives.
Each day brings a bit of excitement, will there be a new postcard in the mail? They bring such a smile...simple, sweet, innocent smile to my daughter's face. She brings in the mail, we have an after school snack and if there are postcards we generally talk about them before starting homework.
We love learning about different locations, monuments, animals, cultures, languages, holidays, and of course any different stamps you might choose to use.
We'll be happy with whatever you choose to send, if you're interested in what we love: nightviews, state capitals, map cards, flags, cats, dogs, guinea pigs, art, holiday cards, places of worship, did you know cards.
I’m very easy to please…here’s a list of some things that I (we) like~

Postcards~I love both modern and vintage (Early 1900's to 1950's, especially Holiday's & Linen's) postcards.
Postage Stamps~ are another favorite that we collect!
Air Mail-Anything to do with air mail, new or used!
Ephemera~I've recently started to collect ephemera, birds, florals, most anything. I also love and am always looking for victorian calling cards.
Stamps~My daughter (10) has really started to get into stamp collecting, if you happen to be someone who would be willing to save and send her stamps please let me know. I would be willing to do some sort of trade with you ;)
Vintage Pyrex, Corning Ware & Glassware
Vintage Handstitched Linens of all kinds
Back Issues of Martha Stewart Living Magazines
Blue & White Dishes
Vintage Cookbooks, especially if they've been written in!
Please, Please, Please be sure and put your user ID somewhere on the item you are sending. On occasion, I have time to sort through all my swaps and try to figure who you are so I can rate you, but there are times when I don't.
I want to rate everyone but I seem to be getting a rash of swap items, mostly from very new people who aren't identifying themselves and therefore taking a chance at not getting rated.
