I live in rural Victoria with a husband and a teenage daughter - one of each (which is enough - sometimes too much). We have a small property and run a few beef cattle (which go nicely in the freezer) have some chooks (for eggs, not eating) and a small dog (not really good for anything) called Charlie. He is a King Charles Cavalier and very cute. We are in the process of building a mud brick house. At the moment I don't work (not paid work anyway). I enjoy gardening - love cottage gardens, growing fruit & vegetables. Love sewing, patchwork & quilting, scrapbooking and cardmaking, and painting - folk art and watercolor. I have always loved doing craft, and until recently, I sold my folkart at local markets. I have done pottery, ceramics, leadlighting, knitting, crocheting, and felt making. I love cappuccino's and chocolate everything. I enjoy fossicking around 2nd hand/junk shops, opp shops, garage sales and trash and treasure markets. I prefer old furniture, have a collection of old kitchenalia - love old scales. am a collector of English Carlton Ware china in greens and cream colors with floral designs. I love the beach, going shopping, playing tennis and family get togethers. I joined swap-bot to send a sample of the type of crafts I love doing and receive a sample of other peoples art work. I appreciate other peoples artwork and creativity and the effort that goes into producting it.
I have just finished reading: Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer - started reading them to find out what my daughter was reading, and I absolutely loved them.
The Bridges of Madison County, Sleepless in Seattle, Forrest Gump, Notebook, The Worlds Fastest Indian.
Gardening Australia, Better Homes & Gardens, Grey's Anatomy, McLeods Daughters, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Thank God You're Here, Antiques Roadshow.
Scrapbooking and Cardmaking, Painting - Folk art, Watercolor, Patchwork and Quilting, Felting making - just recently discovered, Knitting, Photography
LIKES: I like pastel and muted colors. Love pinks, greens, blues & browns. Vintage sewing things - old lace, ribbon, buttons ric-rac & braids. Fabric & paper with florals, stripes, dots, checks & paisleys. Fabric & paper flowers. Embossed and textured card & paper. All things girly, especially shoes and bags. People dressed in vintage style clothes. Old clocks & keys. Distressed and shabby chic style. Cats & dogs. Birds & owls are a new favourite. Lovely soaps and perfumes. Botanical images on anything. Vintage dolls and dolls prams. Old kitchenalia - scales, bowls, teapots, rolling pins. Cards and paper craft items that are layered, embossed, textured and highly embellished. Digital images are fine if other techniques are used with them. DISLIKES: Cartoons, retro styles, 60's & 70's designs, religious & patriotic symbols.

Hey Dee^^. I picked up your package at the post office and was wondering what it could be. Such a cute and lovely Morle album you made. Really great paperart! Cheered me up a lot. Now just need to print out the pictures and glue them inside. Am sure Morle would have loved it too, also because of the colorful ribbons^^. Thanks so much!!!
