Comment: Yee Ha, you've got me going! I've read two of the books on your list and am very interested in several others, I'm off the the library right now to acquire Ready Player One and Blue Thread. I've reserved Patience and Sarah (there's only one copy in the entire Tucson County library system and it's out) and I've put The Name of the Star-on cd-onto my BookSwap wish list. The library doesn't have Big Fat Manifesto. A question: Should I red The Graceling before I reat Bitterblue (which sounds really good)? Thanks so much, Shelley!
Response: I'm so glad you liked the list! I think it's better to read Graceling first, because they talk about things that happen in that book in Bitterblue, so it would have some spoilers. Yay!!

Comment: Absolutely LOVED your list! I've added quite a few as "must read" books on my list. I had a similar experience with the "clan of the cave bear" series - reading them aloud in whispers in junior high and high school! lol I love the idea of your YA reading group - it's great to think kids are being exposed to such a wide variety of reading experiences! Comment: Thanks for the rating log. I haven't read any of the books on your list but have The Secret History to read before the end of 2010. I love what I have read by John Irving so far so will look up A Son of the Circus.
