I adore and revere all books, most noteably Sci-fi and historical romances, but anything humorous as well.Stephen King, when I'm in the mood, but prefer the earlier stuff. The works of Robert Heinlein and Spider Robinson enjoy a special place with me. I also like the Twilight series from Stephanie Meyer, even if they are a bit too "purple prose" for my tastes.
Dr Strangelove, Princess Bride, Nightmare Before Christmas, Serenity, and most sci-fi. The Lord of the Rings, (for being just beautiful to watch) Wallace and Gromit. The Pixar animated movies like Finding Nemo. New favorite is 1408 and of course, Twilight.
Firefly, Bones, Criminal Minds, CSI(the original),Heroes.God,The Devil, and Bob. Alien Nation. New fav is Pushing Daisies, but most shows I like tend to get cancelled.Cartoons, the Disney-Pixar shorts and the later Bugs Bunny/ Looney Tunes. The single best piece of television was in a miniseries,Nightmares&Dreamscapes, a piece called Battleground. It's what I watch when nothing else grabs my attention. I also love the BBC specials, Walking with Dinosaurs, Walking with Prehistoric Beasts, and Walking with Monsters. Pretty much anything from the Discovery Channel. Also Forensic Files and similar shows like Murder by the Book.
Compulsive doodler, love drawing strong monochromic patterns,Egyptian-style eyes. My first love is sculpture but I've tried most other crafts. Quilting and sewing mostly, recently became interested in ATCs,stenciling, and papercraft.Mediocre crocheter, never had the paitence for knitting but I recently learned how. Haven't progressed past the dishcloth stage yet, but I'm hoping to start my first pair of socks.
Ok, about my username- Yes, I know it's a guy name. Simon is my cat.

(That's his picture) I am personally a girl, my name is Sara. Native Southerner, youngest of two girls with two nieces and one nephew(Three, Four and a half, and Twelve years) that I adore and shamelessly spoil.Owned by one mostly Russian Blue tomcat who treats me like his favorite piece of self-heating furniture. I live in a 32 ft travel trailer, so space is precious!Fifteen year Wiccan, everyday I try to learn something new. Thrifty to almost Scrooge-like proportions.Self-taught, I tend to be overly critical of my own work. I write constantly, almost obsessively(can you tell?) but my handwriting is nearly illegible(fair warning!). I have a bit of magpie in me, I can't walk by something interesting without stopping to look or touch.I make my own envies and notecards. I love pretty things;finding them, making them, learning how to make them. I enjoy yard sales, thrift shops, and flea markets.
Bento stuff, accessories(dividers, the cute little bottles and cups)(If you live near a Daiso store,I'll be your best friend!) No more rice or egg molds, please- I'm looking for the little sausage cutters now♥
