November12 2009 Yay!! Root canal is done!!!

October 23 2009 I am currently undergoing a root canal, It's not an excuse I just feel like complaining, LOL

One 6 year old boy and one 4 year old girl. I have a great husband who is a welder and loves to play guitar. He also just got his 3rd Dan in TaeKwonDo, yay, good job Ty.

I have done alot of creative stuff in my time, I have always had a love of paper, so now I've started to make journals for myself and friends. I used to make alot of chain maille and I'm slowly getting back into it again.

Before I had kids I used to blacksmith alot, I love how you can make heavy steel bend like butter. I can't seem to get out to the forge as much as I'd like to, so my husband set me up a studio in the basement, and now I do alot of silversmithing.

It seems like I'm always doing something. This May I'm walking in my first "Relay for Life". I'm really looking forward to it, a whole night with no kids and all for a good cause. (Done May 8-9 2009, walked almost straight for 7 1/2 hours, gave up when my blister broke.)

I'm also hoping to get a little geocaching done this summer, I can't wait to get out there and start treasure hunting.

As I am a Halloween baby I love anything to do with Halloween, mostly pumpkins, and witches.

I recently took a series of Belly Dancing classes with my friend, soooooooo much fun, I highly recommend it!!

I also love eggs, I'm not really sure why, my mom is Ukrainian and we always had to decorate pysanka, so that might be why.

I am a total bead and gemstone junkie, I have bead cases full of stones from A-Z. I would love to do a bead or gemstone swap, but I don't know how I would pick my favs to send.

I love journaling, I actually still have some from when I was 9, they're funny to read when life gets to much, everything was much simpler when I was 9.

I love fairies and dragons, and I have a huge collection of Forgotten Realms books, although I like the old ones better they got very gloomy lately and not so much sword and sorcery.

I have almost all of the Terry Pratchett Discworld novels, Except Masquerade, I am having a seriously hard time finding that one.

I collect old coins and odd coins, skulls, paper, maps, movies, books, dragons, gruesome Froud fairies and goblins, eggs, pumpkins, witches, moons and stars, and gemstones.

I collect rocks and gemstones and actually took a CIG course (Canadian Institute of Gemology). I want to continue with CIG but can't seem to find the time or cash.

I can't seem to think of anything else I love, besides chocolate, so I hope that enough. Oh ya I love bugs, OK I'll stop now.

I am totally addicted to matchboxes, if any other witch out there is reading this, I would totally love an altar in a matchbox, or a swap for one.

I don't really think I dislike anything, as long as its handmade and you love it, I'll love it to.

My Favorite books are the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett, I honestly feel that I could be in the coven with Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg. My paternal grandmothers maiden name was Tattershall, would that not make a perfect name? Granny Tattershall, Nanny Tattershall, Gammer Tattershall, (I don't know, maybe I'm crazy). And Commander Sam Vimes is my hero, he can find a crime anywhere.

True Blood- I am totally obsessed with the Sookie Stackhouse novels right now, Eric is uber HOT.

I really don't understand the purpose of brads, you stick them through paper, but then you have this poky bump on the back. I don't use them for anything.

Grommets/Eyeletts on the other hand I use constantly, they are great for Coptic bound journals. Please feel free to send me a ton of them :)
