About Me

I live in the beautiful wine country of Northern California. I retired last year, so finally have time to do the things I want to do! My favorite pastimes are photography, gardening (especially roses), collecting Native American art and crafting. I have two adult children (one is swapper Lily Lemon) and two grandchildren.

Favorite Crafts

Favorite crafts include sewing, knitting, quilting, handcarving rubber stamps, paper crafts, needle felting and jewelry making.

Favorites

Favorite colors: Very hard to choose! When asked, I say yellow or red, but I wouldn't want that to cause other colors to be left out! I really like all colors --especially when combined in ways that I find pleasing, like brown with pink or blue or lime; teal with lime; citrus colors together, black with most other colors. I'm easy to please, colorwise.

I love 100% cotton fabrics, wool and silk yarns, vintage buttons, ribbons, interesting paper and other surprises!

I love so many different fabrics, it's hard to say what I like best! I especially like vintage and reproduction fabrics. Here are some favorites:

Favorite animals: Cats, horses and ALL birds! I especially love the corvids -- crows, ravens, magpies.

Favorite fragrances: Lavender, vanilla, citrus

Favorite places: The Northern California coast, Sonoma County wine country, Santa Fe, New Mexico.

I am interested in all aspects of the natural world --birds, other animals, trees plants, rocks, and love to receive nature-related swap items.

I would love to list my favorite books, music, movies, etc. but it seems like an overwhelming task. Maybe someday...

Comment: It was amazing!!! And I was admiring the washing line one the other day and thinking how lovely it was and now its MINE!!!! Totally awestruck and there was so much in the envelope I thought it was a Jumbo Profile Surprise! There is even two CDs and you sure got it right on the song selection! You should get 10 hearts for the parcel and another 10 for talent, THANK YOU!
