I am a stay-at-home Mom to two amazing kids. KyLee is 3.5 and Jack is 16 mos. My husband and I met at art school - he has since taken off with a great career while I turned towards more traditional ways of earning the mulah. (since school beat the creativity out of me pretty much) Now I feel ready to get back into the game. I am looking forward to meeting creative, fun people here at swap-bot. (plus I like getting snail mail!)

I like pretty much anything and everything. I haven't purchased much music. I get bored quickly. With the few exceptions like Elvis, Johnny Cash. When I am in the car I prefer to listen to NPR since I don't have much opportunity to watch the news. My kids love music! So I do play it for them often. We like to listen to rap, reggae, classical, and then the usual kids stuff... the Chipmunks, and Laurie Berkner is a favorite.

Self-help books are an addiction of mine, though I don't have the time to read more than the beginning and end of each chapter so it defeats the purpose sometimes.

I LOVE movies. Even bad ones. My husband and I never have time for them anymore. At least not together. We have traded time for movies. I go mattinee, he goes evening. Not always the same movie. I love action, comics, cartoons (Keep them coming Pixar!), and chic flicks too. I used to like, but not since kids, the scary stuff. Before I would laugh, now it just REALLY scares me.

t.v. addict here: Lost, Heros, The Closer, The Shield, Rescue Me, Monk, How it's Made, Sponge Bob, Curious George, Big Brother, Biggest Loser, Smallville, any Law and Order (except Trial by Jury), etc...

Painting with acrylics and watercolors, drawing... Sometimes I 'meditate' by drawing on rocks with a sharpie, or on any surface. Some very abstract stuff. I like to knit, though I am truly a beginner. Knitting is like cooking for me - I absolutely have to follow the recipe or dissaster happens. I love soft knits. I like to knit scarves, hats, sweaters... I recently got invited to Ravelry and joined a dishcloth group. Is actually quite fun! I also enjoy photography, photoshop, crochet, collage, atc's, and well, this is supposed to be favorites but as you can tell I am all over the place. My most favorite thing to do is paint with watercolors.
