I love swap-bot! It never fails to brighten my day when there is a box or envelope waiting in the mailbox for me. I love seeing what surprises are in store when I rip open the package! I've only been flaked on a couple times, but the swaps I do receive make up for it! I don't always send my swaps on time, but I always send and I make sure that what I'm sending is something I would want to receive.
I'm a stay at home mom of 6 kids. I've been selling on eBay for about 7 years. It's helped me be able to stay at home with my family
When I'm not sitting in front of my sewing machine (I got a new Janome 1600p and I LOVE it!!!), I usually sitting on the couch watching t.v. with my dh. Thanks to DVR we can watch our favorite shows together. I usually have to wait until Sunday or Monday to catch up on all my favorites, but I love being able to sit and laugh with my best friend and husband of 15 years! (insert corny music here)
I like sewing quilts, aprons and bags. Actually "like" isn't a strong enough word...I'm addicted to it. I am a hopeless fanatic! Fabric fabric fabric!!! I recently made a really cute skirt for my teenager and am hoping to learn more clothing type sewing skills.
When I'm not sewing or chasing kids, I'm reading or watching a show on t.v. with a Dr. Pepper, bowl of popcorn and a package of M&M's at my side! I'm always looking for a good book to read, in fact I enlisted the help of my oldest child to borrow books from her school library because I'm too lazy to go to my local library.
*I love apron or hand bag patterns (new or used) *Christmas fabric *Stabilizer for the bottom of my bags *Buttons buttons buttons--anything to embellish with *rick-rack (any color) *sewing thread *Janome 1600p bobbins *measuring tape (my 5 year old keeps stealing mine) *quilt magazines *fine point sharpies
If you have me as a swap partner and you can't think of anything to get me, cotton fabric is always the way to go.
Other things I like are little embellishments for the bags I make (see my flickr for some of my work).
*I really don't need any more ribbon *I don't use stickers or scrapbook type embellishments. *I don't drink tea *I sell candles, so I don't need any
