Just as a warning, I suck at these "about me" things, because I'm never sure what information anyone would find useful.

Let's see...my birthday is 06 January, 1984. I'm single with no children and I'm quite happy that way.

I love reading, theatre, post cards, snail mail, knitting, crocheting, writing, pen pals, journaling, traveling, candles, learning, Harry Potter, and more.

I have a BA in history and am contemplating attending graduate school and becoming a librarian.

Just an FYI: I'm allergic to cats. If we're doing a swap and you have a cat, please make sure whatever you're sending me isn't covered in cat fur. Thanks.

A smattering of a lot of different things: rock, folk, punk, metal, and occasionally pop and R&B. I can put up with just about anything if I need to, lol.

My "favorite" book keeps changing, and I'm not sure that I have an absolute favorite.

I really love foreign movies...I've studied some German in school, and I often go on German movie kicks. For example, I really love Run Lola Run, Metropolis, The Princess and the Warrior, Goodbye Lenin! and others. But I'm not limited to just German films, I enjoy films from elsewhere as well.

I've mostly enjoyed the Harry Potter films thus far, though I was sort of bothered by the Goblet of Fire.

I also like indy films as well.

Weeds, The L Word, Queer as Folk, Six Feet Under, Law and Order: SVU, The Tudors, Ugly Betty, Pushing Daisies, etc.

I'm not really a crafty person...the only crafts I really do are knitting and crocheting.
