I just completed my first swap ever on Ravelry...it was so much fun I want to do more! My hobbies include: vegan baking, knitting, reading, sewing (moon pads in particular), scrapbooking, tarot, runes, movies, decorating, organic gardening, and journal writing. My interests include animal rights, veganism, psychology, and alternative religions. My mom tells me I was born in the wrong time and she calls me her "hippie girl". Lol. I recently became a Big Sister in the Big Brother Big Sister program! I also volunteer at a local no kill cat shelter. I love cats and have many four legged friends roaming my home. I even have a Bast shrine! She protects all my kitty friends from harm. :)
My favorite colors are earth tones and I really enjoy different textures. When it comes to yarn, the bulkier the better! I like cotton and cotton blends. I love bamboo yarns as well! I am a homebody and enjoy making my house a peaceful retreat from the world. I love vintage furniture, clothes, etc. My house is full of antique finds!
Totally addicted to vintage tablecloths from the 40's and 50's! I have quite the collection. My favorite one is a cowboy themed tablecloth...I've never seen anything like it! :)
Vegan and proud of it!!!
I have a degree in Psychology. I work as a nanny. I have a diploma in Massage Therapy!

We could be profile twins! So glad to see we like so many of the same books -- you reminded me to add Mists of Avalon to my list!! Welcome to the Apple-licious swap. :)
hi you are my partner for the winter wear swap. I will definitely send you something GREAT. Just kidding. Your profile is most interesting and I am glad you are my partner. Rose.
Yay! I'm assuming you have me for the winter wear swap? Can't wait to see what you decide to knit! :)
Oh my goodness!! I LOVE the Star Trek cat fight!! I think the black cat is Mr Spock since he kept tapping the other cat on the shoulder. The Star Trek fight-scene music is just priceless! Thanks bunches for sending it - best laugh I have had in ages!
