I live in Texas and I currently work full-time in the accounting department of a local company. I have a dog named Whiskey and he is the cutest dog ever. I am biased, of course :) I also started graduate school this year. I am getting a Diplomate in Translation Studies and I hope to become a professional translator/interpreter. I would love to translate novels and screenplays. P.S. I recycle packaging whenever possible. P.P.S To all our lovely international swappers, I've started incorporating all those beautiful canceled stamps into my crafting so I love to see those on the envelopes but only if it is not an inconvenience for you :)

My favorite craft is crochet. I love all kinds of yarn and thread. I also like crochet hooks that are embellished or made of something other than steel or plastic. Mostly, I only crochet small things such as bookmarks and ipod socks. The largest things I've made are prayer shawls. I learned from my mom and she has crocheted tablecloths, curtains, beadspreads and other large projects. I am not there yet lol. I also enjoy coloring. Yes, coloring. As in coloring books. I'm a kid at heart lol. I find it very soothing and relaxing.

Ever since I discovered swap-bot and these fabulous CD swaps, my iPod has been doing backflips from sheer happiness :) I am fluent in English and Spanish so I have quite the musical library. I've found something to love in everything from rock to pop to country to opera. There are great songs in every musical genre. We just have to stop and listen and give everything a chance. I love to find new artists (or at least new to me)and discover new songs. I don't mind explicit lyrics. I have no problems with heavy metal or rap music. These are just a few of my favorite artists but by no means all of them. Please feel free to include anything you like in the CDs you send me.

I love fairies, especially, Tinkerbell: I like pencils, pens, cards, stationery any small Tinkerbell or fairy items.
I love Looney Tunes: small stuff, espcially Bugs and Tweety. I enjoy tea and coffee. I love yankee candle tarts. I am an avid reader so bookmarks are appreciated. I can never find a post-it-note when I need one so these will be appreciated in any colors.
I am a dog lover so anything cutesy that features dogs or puppies will be well received. I have nothing against kitties so any cat lovers that want to share their cutesy stuff please do so. I also like butterflies, bumblebees and dolphins. I like crochet magazines (back issues are great).
Back issues of women's magazines or home decor magazines are welcomed. I also like empty eyeshadow palettes or any container (like those tin pencil boxes/cases) that can be used to store depotted eyeshadows. I like "piggy" banks though they don't necessarily have to look like piggies.

I am not afraid of color. I love color. I'm especially fond of deep colors and jewel tones.
