Hello everyone (^_^)
My name is Rosa, I'm a 23 year old British/Italian living in London. I study BA Japanese & Journalism and aspire to make documentaries.
Sometimes I feel like I was born in the wrong century. I drink too much tea and am constantly reading. I like taking walks alone. It gives me time to be nostalgic and interact with nature. I also like observing people (preferably unnoticed through a window.)
I suffer from wanderlust and travel as often as my purse allows me. Immersing myself in other cultures allows me to blissfully escape the burdens of modern life.
I love learning about history and philosophy. I'm a massive fan of Bertrand Russell.
Creativity is important to me. Journals and letters make me smile. Baking is my form of therapy.
I have a terrible habit of buying expensive make up that I barely wear and I appreciate a nice mustache.
Lastly, I'm fond of video games and collect vintage trinkets.
My music tastes varies on my mood.
Enter Shikari, Coeur de Pirate, Amanda Palmer, Adele, Muse, Radiohead, The Prodigy, Pendulum, Linkin Park, Five Finger Death Punch, Avenged Sevenfold, Rammstein, The Smiths, Joni Mitchell, Johnny Cash.
I also listen to alot of orchestral music, and pianists like Ludovico Einaudi.
Amrita by Banana Yoshimoto. Sputnik Sweetheart and The Wind Up Bird Chronicles by Haruki Murakami. The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. Assassins Aprentice by Robin Hobb. The Princess Bride by William Goldman. Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. The Perks of being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien. Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling. A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin. Pellinor Series by Alison Croggon. To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. Enders Game by Scott Orson Card. Beauty by Robin Mckinley. The Stranger by Albert Camus. Please Look After Mother by Kyung-Sook Shin. Solanin by Inio Asano.
The list is endless.
I generally enjoy most movies but the following are special.
Spirited Away, Tampopo, Battle Royale, Oldboy, City of God, Amelie,Pan's Labyrinth, Beauty and the Beast, In Bruges, An Education, Lost in Translation, Walk The Line, Star Wars and Gladiator.
Firefly, Spaced, Doctor Who, Come Dine With Me, Sherlock, Castle and The Big Bang Theory.
Animes like Naruto, Death Note, Toradora, Hatenkou Yuugi and Durarara.
J-Dramas like Hana Yori Dango, Hana Kimi and Rich Man Poor Woman.
K-Dramas like City Hunter, My Girl, Delightful girl Choon-Hyung, The Moon that embraces the Sun, The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince, Your Beautiful and Shining Inheritance.
I love all types of crafts, particularly geekcraft and I am learning amigurumi.
I love to recycle, for example: world maps into envelopes, wrapping presents in book pages, etc.
I also collect ephemera, kawaii stationary, vintage stickers, stamps and particularly love washi tape (hence the username!)

I mainly just love Britain and would really love to be able to visit there someday! Right now, there's no specific thing I like but I'll tell you if I wanted something in the future hahaha Let's swap! :)) THANKSS! :)
I can't believe how fast my mail got to you! Less than 2 weeks time! I guess that's what registered mail does hahaha Just a bummer that it doesn't use stamps. I'll try sending an ordinary mail next time though it'll arrive about 2-3 weeks :)
I also can't believe it took that long to arrive!
What sticker?
Anyway, I got all excited and wrote you a reply and mailed it today! Expect it arrive next year January hopefully!
Really glad to be penpalling with you! Hope you'll like my mail :)
yay! Another korean lover! :D Yes, I love k-dramas but at the moment I'm not watching anything as my internet connection is too slow for that :( How about you? Which are your favorite dramas? I love the most history themed dramas and so my favorites are "Dr.Jin" and "The Moon That Embraces The Sun".
It's so amazing that you're studying Japanese in uni. Yes, I'm self-studying Korean ^0^ My dream is to attend in uni soon and major in East Asian studies so that I would learn more about Korean or Chinese history , culture and language 0
Btw, I saw your comment on my blog about the country post cards, but would you also like to become my penpal & exchange letters with me? I think we would have a lot to talk about & it would be great to know you more :) But it's ok if you're not looking for a penpal this time.
Thank you for the friend request ^_^!! What comes to your profile you seem to be very nice and seem a bit similar to me(same things in common), I would like to get to know you more!!:D Are you good at Japanese(I think you're learning it since you're studying BA Japanese & Journalism)?
