I live in the south (USA) but grew up in Arizona...which is a great place for a tomboy to grow up. :)

I am a SAHM to a super fabulous little boy named Andrew. He is the light of my life. I have been married to my dh for almost 14 years.
I have a couple of health issues that keep me indoors a lot and have filled a lot of time with surfing craft websites, etsy (which I occassionally sell on), finding new crafting ideas/patterns...etc. I love unique jewelry whether it is buying, making or looking at it...esp. lots of layers of bracelets. :) I am so into my sons sports...he is a soon-to-be black belt in Tae Kwon Do (and he is only 8) It is amazing to see how much he excels at this.

• Please don't send open and half used stuff (unless it is in good/clean condition) or folded up paper (if it has several folds in it, it is hard to use in crafting) It means SO much to me when someone looks at my profile and puts a little thought into what they are sending me

I have been "crafting" since I was a little girl. I have just started a real sketchbook "journal"...for my art...It's a lot of fun but I have a hard time sharing it with others. Although I have considered adding one or two pics to my flickr pages. *I have now added a few of my drawings on flickr...you can also see my craft room and a few scrapbook pages.... My passions are in jewelry making, polymer clay, paper crafts. I also love making wooden art charm pieces. I make little collages on them and have also started doing my own drawings in mini on them. I have crocheted since I was 6 but can't read a pattern. I do a little of everything. I have other things that I love to do, but these are my constants. :)

I love all things cute (with the kawaii type of look to them-I guess the japanese cute influence is what I like).

I also like the korean cuteness things... *I need to stay off the forums because I just found out about Ddung Dolls (a korean doll that is so stinkin' cute I can't even stand it!) and I want some. Don't look them up 'cause it's dangerous if you love the "kawaii" type of cuteness.....Don't do it! I did! Argh ;p

I love all things pink...or pink and green some other favorite colors are orange, turquiose, coral...

I Love all things girly even though I was the biggest tomboy growing up.

I love organizational magazines but can never get organized

I wear aprons almost daily

I am very "hot natured" so I don't need things to keep me warm

I LOVE christmas...the decorations, tree and music...which beings playing in my car after my birthday (in Oct.)

My favorite season is the fall ...the smells, the colors, the crisp air, college football.

• ♥I love old retro 40's and 50's types of pics of "housewives" and/or kids, families/pin-ups/kitschy

• ♥I love small things...i just think they are cute...maybe it's because as a child I always wished I could find a real live fairy or little pocket sized person :)...

• ♥woodland creatures...esp of the kawaii influence. :)........deers, hedgehogs, foxes, etc.

My son shares my fascination with all things tiny too so that doesn't help matters much...he also loves the little yellow duckies...so anything duck-ish or chick-ish is a friend at our house.

• I am sensitive to smoke smells and some perfumes. I don't like the smell of gardenia or magnolia ..they make my head swim. :(

Fabrics I like are polka dots and gingham, small print calicos and Japanese prints...kawaii rocks I don't wear pins...although there are lots of cute ones out there

I like springy (nice colors...not pastel really but not neon bright either...but can find use for just about any!) colored ribbon (without wires) I don't use a lot of organza ribbon but I LOVE grosgrain ribbon. Esp. w/dots, stripes, flowers, gingham, or cute scenes on it.

I love handmade things. I'm jealous of the sewing people of the world. I LOVE quilts.

The color orange is my friend. I don't like to get glitter everywhere so I can only handle it in very small quantities. :)

WISHLIST

• I love pens....cute ones, gel pens, different types...colored ink i don't care i just love them

• Anything in the kawaii type of cuteness esp like the cute little apples and such with their little faces...so cute (NO Hello Kitty as I can find her around here) *BUT I'm not a "diehard" japanese co. only fan of cute things. Korean kawaii is great too!

• Woodland critters...mushrooms, deers, birds, hedgehogs...especially of the cute/kawaii influence...etc

• Puffy Stickers esp. kawaii

• HAND-MADE....Quilted or other cute fabric, felt etc... ipod touch case (I am not good at sewing but I wish I was)

• ANYTHING Momiji (I would fall out of my chair with excitement if I could get my hands on the 2009 bubble ornament christmas doll)*

• Embroidery Floss..I have just started so i don't have much

• some 100% cotton yarn

• I absolutely LOVE retro/cute ROBOTS, aliens or monsters

• I am a huge Stitch fan (From disneys Lilo & Stitch) I esp love all the Japanese stitch stuff

• I like organic types of soaps/body washes...oatmeal soaps/washes or scrubs. Natural smells. Very light coconut/natural shampoo/soap smells.

DISLIKES

• Please don't send junky stuff...or used stuff...or dirty stuff...or left-over-half-used-and-it-fills-up-my-swap-obligation stuff...I would much rather have someone send me a well thought out swap of one or two things than a bunch of "extras" to try and make up for a sloppy/thoughtless swap.
• Scary/gory stuff
• Tea bags (although I drink tea I only drink iced tea and don't care for flavored tea.)
• Coffee -like the smell hate the flavor

• Hot chocolate-only drink once a year on christmas eve...so it is wasteful. (seems like a theme going on here...I don't like hot drinks)

• witch/wiccan stuff

• overly religious types of things

• I don't like strong perfumy smells (my son has bad allergies and I get super bad headaches when things are overly "smelly"...even if I like the smell in small doses..if they are overwhelming I will get a dizzy headache)... esp. gardenia and magnolia.

I really do not mean to sound ungrateful for the things I receive in swaps but I have gotten a lot of thoughtless swaps and wonder if they were reading someone elses profile and got confused before shipping?
I put a TON of effort into my packages and thankfully I have received some awesome partners as well and to those of you that also put your thought and heart into what you send THANKS A MILLION TIMES!!!!

Random things about me: I suck at lying...even when I try I am terrified of grasshopper and crickets.

• I am an adoptive mom...and that ROCKS! (imo) I love the Univ. of Tenn. football......GO VOLS I love being a mom

My son Andrew LOVES getting mail. He used to get weekly little packages from my parents but they moved to our area last year and he now gets No mail. He checks the mail everyday and gets so sad that he has nothing. :(

Andrew is 8 years old.

He just started collecting MightyBeanz and thinks they are awesome & they are super hard to find here

He LOVES Mario and Luigi things. He collects the trading cards and has quite a collection. Loves small stuff...little things... Video game addict esp Super Mario Brothers so Anything with characters is cool.

Hobbies: TaeKwonDo (he is almost a black belt..woohoo) Running Football Skateboarding Bike riding Basketball he thinks Tony Hawk is one of the most awesome people around. (and thinks since I am "old too" I should be able to call him up so they can meet...hehe kids r so funny)

He loves "duckies" the little yellow ones. He has stuffed animals pictures etc. Anything rubber duck-ish has much love here. :) and although he would be mortified if his friend knew it he still sleeps with all of the yellow duckie stuffed animals that we have ever gotten him.
