I'm a 30-something mom of two - a boy and a girl. I've been married for 11 years, and we've lived in the same small town for nearly that long! We actually live in a church which my husband and I converted to a home right after we got married.

Red is my absolute favorite color. I collect pincushions and vintage sewing gear. I also love anything vintage and quirky. (I'm the crazy woman at the auction who will buy an item that no one else wants for a dollar!) Toys from the 80s make me happy, especially Hello Kitty, Strawberry Shortcake, My Little Pony & Rainbow Brite! I'm just discovering kawaii and quickly becoming addicted.

My son is 6 years old and very into all things dinosaur, reptile and shark.

My daughter is just a few months old, so we're not sure about her interests yet, although she does love her Hello Kitty stuffie.

We have three cats - Lucy, Winnie & Cheeto Burrito. We also have 3 hermit crabs and a handful of fish. I'm pretty much a sucker for a stray, but am currently at my husband's limit for furry babies!

I am an avid seamstress and enjoy creating things for my Etsy shop as well as for gifts. My sister and I also work together to have a couple of booths at craft shows each year.

I have been scrapbooking since 1995 and absolutely love it! It's the one hobby I've found (other than sewing) that I haven't grown bored with after a year or so.

Recently, I was introduced to needle felting and really enjoy it. I haven't done a lot but I'm hoping to have more time for it in the future.

This past year, I taught myself to crochet and am busy practicing my new hobby.

I read constantly and will read almost anything except horror, non-fiction and biography. (Unless those are about a subject that really interests me.) Historical fiction is probably my favorite, but I can't turn down a good chick lit read, either!

The Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich is one of my favorites. I also have to admit to loving the Twilight series.

I don't watch too much television. I'm pretty busy doing other projects or reading most of the time. However, I do get a kick out of Pawn Stars.

Okay, she's only a few months old, so we don't really know yet, but her room is decorated in a non-disney fairy tale forest theme. Lots of gnomes, fairies, mushrooms, etc. Her room is dark green and ivory with dark red and pink accents. I am also trying to encourage a love for Hello Kitty. :)
