I live in historic York PA and love to explore all it has to offer. I have lived in other states and love to travel. I especially love to travel by train. I belong to several altered art clubs in the area and recently started making useful things from recyled items. I love nature and animals, camping, and a good mystery on a rainy day.
I recently bought a 100+ year old house in the city. Both the house and city present their challenges. My dogs earn their keep when they guard the house while I am gone and serve as live heating pads in the winter. I love getting to know people and the art of relationships. My favorite saying is - Normal is a setting on the dryer.

I love to browse used bookstores, thrift stores, and local markets. I love to craft with friends draw with pastels, and make things look old. I love to learn, try new crafts, recipes, and foods I've never had before. I love the outdoors especially the mountains as well as walks in the snow. I love to sit around the campfire and just stare at the fire or participate in a drum circle. I love quiet time in the evenings and love to listen to the rain and thumder. I especially love the smell of the air after a storm.
