I've just moved into a vintage farmhouse and am in love with Romantic decorating!

My hobbies... reading, crochet, sewing, going to movies

My allergies... too much milk

I AM DYING for any of Nicky Epstein's knitted and felted bags, especially since I can't knit them myself.
Other stuff about me... I love cherries and Mary Engelbreit goodies, I try to do too much at one time, I've been married for 22+ years and have four kids, work FT, volunteer regularly at my church nursery and run a meal assembly business part time. And I crochet and read compulsively. And I've started doing First Place weight loss again so am trying to exercise more and eat less and put God first place every day.

Apron Loves

I have been on such an apron kick lately. I adore frilly aprons, especially full or bib ones. I like retro fabrics; also pink/brown and aqua/brown combinations; vintage pinup girls; and anything with cherries or Mary Engelbreit fabric. Oh, I need long ties or a size 2X to fit around my apple-shaped torso!

For the Hittin' the Trail Apron Swap, I would really love a Cowboy Apron (with vintage pinup girls would be PERFECT)!

Response: I am so sorry I forgot your card! I wanted to explain why I chose all the goodies. That retro nutcracker was the first thing I found, and I just built. Aprons have been my "thing" lately, so had to tuck one in, and then the silly BBQ condiments set just topped the cake. ENJOY!

Thanks so much for leaving the criss-cross ties unsewn so I can fit it to myself. SO GREAT! All the extras are wonderful too. It's funny because the apron package I sent to my partner was flamingo-themed too! The bag is fantastic, I will use it tons. And the picnic stuff is so cute! Thank you thank you thank you!

Comment: OHMYGOSH, Shawnee - you went way over and above with my swap package! It arrived just a little while ago, and I was so surprised at how much you sent! First of all, I love the stuffed cupcake. It truly is the cutest one I have ever seen. Love the fluffy topping. :) But not only that, you packaged it in a cupcake gift bag, along with the pattern and also sent chocolate, stickers, a fall cupcake party pack, a silicone muffin pan and a really cute card and note! I wish I could give you more than one heart for this great package, but unfortunately, I can't. All I can say, besides "WOW!" is Thank you very, very much! I am truly blown away!
