I come from a long ling of seamstresses; I am actually the only woman in my family who does not do it professionally. With all the knowledge, I was saturated with as a youth and being blessed with natural talent there are few things I can’t do myself. The problem lies within the past 4 years I have hardly been on my machine. So I am pushing myself (with everyone’s help) to just get back to it. Find things to do and nurture those skills that are so special.

Well enough of that, the key things to know about me are that I love my dog and my husband. When it comes to the pup I make most of her treats I spend my free time trying to figure out new dog treats and improve on toy designs I have. I like to bake and try out new cooking toys. We are very involved with his Rugby club. I also am a professional Fine Art model. This does mean I travel a ton.

So there you go, I love rugby, dogs and sewing. I more then love dogs, I am a little obsessed. I have tons of books on them and love to research breads and training. However all of this is trumped by my obsession for Scottie Dogs. I have one, I have always wanted on and they are the best dogs ever. I would not say that I collect Scotties but I do tend to be drawn to things that have Scotties on them. Just about all my jammies do.

I love postcards too, since I travel so much I can find good ones. I have a few other friends who model that we all exchange them. My favorite kind are the cartoon drawings of states that have iconic drawings next to landmarks.

I like bluegrass, older jazz, rock and folk music. I am fans of artists like Johnny Cash, Sons of the Pioneers, The Goodyear Pimps, John Denver, John Forgery, Bob Dylan. Celtic - modern and classic.

I mostly read travel writing, for one one I travel so much and being able to is the reason I work. Also like history and eastern studies. I am a practicing Buddhist

I love to sew and bake. I can make clothing, toys, household accessories and just about anything. I have made costumes for my entire family including the dog. I am learning more crafting techniques everyday.

I am a Christmas nut, I have started making Christmas gifts this year in August.

I am a transplant in the city I live in. Don't have many friends that are into my hobbies. So I want to make connections, get inspiration and be pushed to learn more!!

My best friend is moving away in a year to follow her partner as he enters Grad School.

It was my husband’s idea to move Minneapolis after we graduated college and I remind him of that every winter. He is an adventurous person, likes to change things up. He had only been here a few times when he was an over-the-road truck driver. A few important things about him, he is a Marine, he is a very talented rugby player, he wishes that he was an artists but instead he is very skilled with creating functional furniture (the in itself is art). He loves our dog, she is his little princess. We spend much of our free time camping and canoeing, those are both his passions. After college he became a High School Administrator but resigned this year and is back to his true love, working outside.

Our fur baby’s name is Pippi, she is a year old Scottie. She is the light of our life!! A funny little girl, like most Scotties are. She will do just about anything for peanut butter. She looks great in red but her favorite color is purple. I have been slowly recovering all the pads in her kennel/house in purple fleece. Being the good little dog that she is, we travel with her, mostly with me. She goes almost everywhere with me, even to my photoshoots (as you can see from my avatar).

Well now I have 2 little Scottie babies. WE just got a puppy, Willa the wonderful.

My personal style is a bit buttoned up, I wear a suit or something comparable during the week and most of my casual clothes are not that casual. I do however have a tangent for rugby jerseys (go figure), I prefer my clothing and accessories to be more classic.

Our home is decorated somewhat similar, classic and comfortable. I tent to use muted colors and just a few colors in each room.

I am Scottish and very proud of my heritage, ahem the dog, many things in our home are Celtic. The music we listen too, how we decorate and how I dress. My husband is Dutch which we celebrate as well but it is mostly a Celtic home. I should not I am not Irish and there is a difference.
