On Tuesday, May 19, 2009 my wonderful Dad, at age 72, passed away after a brave fight against lung cancer that spread to his brain. We kept him at home and cared for him 24 hours a day, so he passed to heaven painlessly & peacefully, surrounded by my Mom & 2 sisters & I. I will take more time off from swapping, but will be back when life adjusts to the 'new normal'.

Single Mom to a terrific 13 yr old son...I enjoy all kinds of paper crafts ~ cards, tags, ATCs, journals, hand decorating papers...I could go on. I don't sew but would love to start. My dream is to make a living selling my creations, but I haven't started down that path yet. Perhaps someday.

I can't be around strong scents; incense, heavy perfume & spicy/flowery candles give me migraines. I don't like lavender, minty or lemon fragrances; cigarette smell is just revolting (I quit 9 yrs ago, yay me!). I am not into x-rated themed things. Don't drink coffee or tea; and I don't eat hard candy, gum or mints. My hair is super-short, so I can't use any hair do-dads!!!!

I seem to collect journals, quotes, photographs, photo frames. Yankee Candles, wind chimes, magnets, keychains, littlel sewn pouches & purses.

Daisies, hydrangeas, hostas, all 'blue' purple flowers. Alternative Rock/90's Grunge music, tote bags, car decals, bookmarks, Ultra-fine Sharpies. LOVE Emily the Strange, Mary Englebreit, Ann Taintor and Don LeLeger. ok totally have to check the spelling on his name......
