Hi there :-) My name is Josi, I am 35 years old and I live in Germany.

I am penpalling for some time now and I find happiness and relaxation in it. It is a way of calming myself down after a long day of work.

I love using smileys to express myself :-D

Well, favourite music. I love the sound of piano music and cello. Especially those deep sounds are making me happy :-) I have a lot of different music on my phone and I love to shuffle. It is always surprising what will be next and that is quite interesting.

Most of the times I like hearing music depending on my mood. Happy music in the morning to start the day, hardrock music in the afternoon when my work frustrates me and some calming rock/pop in the evening while I write my letters and craft.

But to be specific: I love BTS :-) and Kari Bremnes, Sunrise Avenue, Joris, Tenacious D, Emma6, Elton John, System of a down, Pink, Lewis Capaldi, The Beatles, Bach, Niall Horan, Queen and I love love love love Ultimo! He is my favourite artist! I love his deep voice!

I love reading, but I do it very rarely. I should just take the time instead of spending my time on youtube 😅

I really like the books by Mhairi McFarlane, Sebastian Fitzek and Jane Austen. My favourite authors :-) Lately I am interested in literature like 'The Tattooist of Auschwitz' or 'Birkensommer'.

Of course I am a huge fan of Harry Potter! I loved the books and the movies and the whole magical world around it :-) every year around christmas I watch the movies again :-) the perfect time for me.

And I love 'The Neverending Story'. As a child I had a cassette with the audiobook. Fantasia is just a wonderful place where everything lives in a state of balance and everyone is loved my the childlike empress equaly :-)

Uhhh, there are so many. But my short answer would be Pride and Prejudice with Keira Knightley :-) the first time I rented it on dvd I watched it like three times in a row. I couldn't sleep because I thought about how beautiful this movie is and I had to watch it again :-) since then it is a safe space for me when I feel down :-)

Besides that I like quite many movies. Fantasy is an all time favourite genre. Movies like Pan's Labyrinth or Harry Potter or all the Marvel Movies are just good! But I also like watching Rom-Coms like Set it Up, Sex and the City 1 or While you were sleeping. And don't forget Science Fiction like Star Wars, Star Trek or Alien :-) I do enjoy independent and arthouse movies like Amélie or Heaven and the queer cinema :-)

Well, I can enjoy mostly every genre and movie, as long as it is no horror or scary movie like The conjuring or It. I can't stand horror-movies and if a group of friends would watch such a movie, I would leave the room.

I am a serienjunkie and when I love something it can happen I binch watch it on a weekend without doing anything else 😅

As a member of the snail mail community I love decorating letters or envelopes and make some little crafts like flipbooks or wallets and I do love making pocket letters, but I haven't received one yet. I am always searching for new inspiration and ideas.

I enjoy working with die cuts or washi stickers, flake stickers or sticker sheets and of course paper, paper, paper 😅 there can't be enough paper. I do love making my own envelopes using old children books or 30x30 paper.

I like all kinds of stationary. I am a huge fan of washi stickers and die cuts (everything is beautiful and usefull), writing paper, paper in all forms and sizes, sticker flakes, postcards with themes I like (preferably written).

I am also a member of the postcrossing community 😊 and I like to decorate my cards with washi tape and stickers. I don't make my own cards yet, but perhaps in the future 😊

Lately I am trying out ATCs. It is quite difficult, but I have so much fun decorating them 😊 I still don't feel good enough to participate in a swap, but 2021 is very young and I have a goal!
