And I'm back to swappin'! It's been a while and I have missed it a lot. I can't wait to see what I've been missing the past couple months! 9/4/12

I've been living in NJ for the past couple years, but just moved to a lil' apartment with my boyfriend, cat and rats in PA. It's really nice, I'm happy to be here.

A note about my personal system of rating! If you send me a swap that meets the requirements, I'm going to give you a five! I don't usually ever give hearts to swaps that are nice but don't include a note! To me, the point of swapping is to connect with other people! If you just send a swap without any personalization, it's kind of sad.

I try to recycle most all my packaging!!! :D So you may get some weird boxes/envelopes from me.

Unpopular opinion: I don't like naps.

I'm living by the rules "try everything once and don't drown".

I am a studio art major (printmaking) and a Japanese minor. I took some time off last year, but now I'm back, as a senior!

I want to work with animals as a career.

I work a lot of hours at a pet boarding facility. I spend my days covered in drool and dog hair. It's a lot of fun.

Animals are really important to me! I have a senior cat I rescued from the shelter I used to volunteer at. (Second Chance For Animals, check 'em out!) His name is Basil. I was a dog person to the core of my soul until I got this cat! I love him so much. He's a sweet old man, and now I can't imagine life without him!

We have two cute little dumbo rats named Lentil and Lincoln, they're speedy, inquisitive, hungry little dudes, and I just love 'em to bits!

I also like... basically every animal. Not really monkeys so much, I find them kind of creepy.

In my free time I read books, go on tumblr, watch tv shows and drink lots of tea. I also romp around outside and make crafts!

I LOVE to cook! Life is good. I recommend Lauren Ulms book "Vegan Yum Yum" to anyone and everyone! I make something from it almost every day!

And I love to clean! So my hobbies connect! I make big old cooking messes and then I clean them up!

I can be really uncomfortable around people, and I'm pretty shy. But I'm big on kindness and manners, so I would say I'm a nice person.

I care about the planet, I care about niceness, I care about other living creatures. I care about lots of things, sometimes too many things.

I have a super great partner in crime. His name is Jonathan. We've been together for a long time, he's just the best. Sometimes I join swaps for him! He like graphic design, video games, and shows. He's a sweetheart, I like him a lot.

I'm a former vegetarian and former vegan. I don't have a label right now. I eat meat sometimes, but I make it a special occasion!

I most any kind of music. Even country I like country a lot! I do not understand all the country hating. The one thing I do not really enjoy is lots and lots of screaming. Not for me. (I love mix cds with any kind of music) My very favorite favorites are: William Elliott Whitmore, A Love Like Pi, Gogol Bordello, and Mumford and Sons.

And lately, I've been giving a lot more listens to Rodney Atkins and The Mountain Goats.

I like books about troubled people doing troubled things. I also love children's books. I often read books about vegetarianism and animal welfare, and just non-fiction about animals in general. I also enjoy books about the rough south.

I used to want to be a children's librarian. Maybe I still do, I don't know!

My Favorites: No Country For Old Men. The Devil's Rejects. Wristcutters: A Love Story. True Grit.

My favorite, favorite television shows are The Office and Parks and Recreation.

I'm also super into Game of Thrones and Teen Wolf (but not Sterek).

I sometimes watch: Swamp People. LOST. BSG. Firefly. Arrested Development. Breaking Bad.

I love my iPhone! I got it recently. It's so fun and helpful and nice!

I like things related to gender and sex, I think it is nothing to be afraid of! I also love anything related to body acceptance!

I have a deep fondness in my heart for brown paper bags. I like to wrap stuff in them and get stuff wrapped in them.

I like taxidermy.

Magazines! A good, easy way to please! I love them!

Method brand products! They make cleaning supplies and soaps. It's the best!

I also enjoy getting things with a lot of personality. I love handwritten things, not just printed. Handmade is amazing, I tend to prefer it!

I love things with animals on them! I love animal-welfare related things.

I like cute things, smooshy mushy cute things.

Kawaii is great, I like it. I like Pikachu a whole lot as well.

Tiny things! Lil' jars and pocket sized cuties.

I collect found-nature stuff! Bones, leaves, feathers!

Bigger things on my wishlist are: Any 00 size jewelery!

And oh geeze, I'm a Lushie! I don't expect anyone to send any. But I just want to spread the word on how phenomenal products from LUSH are!!! I love them and everyone should try them out! Worth every penny.
