UPDATE: I am back! and we are finally done moving my parents closer to us! We learned a very valuable lesson from it all too....we do not want to move ourselves for a long time! lol

Hello All ! I am a 30 year old Mom of two. I have a Daughter who is 12 and a Son who is 8, and absolutely love spending time with my family. I am always looking for things we can all do together. My Daughter is a sports nut! she loves our local high school football team ( me I'm a NASCAR fan...lol), she loves to skateboard, and go dirt bike riding..My son loves to draw, read and watch tv shows ( we watch the goodnight show each night together...My son is also Autistic, so he enjoys things deamed more at youunger children). I love to read, paint, and write postcards. I have also recently taken up swimming regularly, it's very relaxing

I love all different kinds of Music, but some of my favorites are Tracy Chapman, Prince, Enigma, and sometimes Marilyn Manson....=) My Daughter has recently got me listening to some hip hop, and I must say I do really like Kanye West !

My favorite author of all time is Elenore Craig. I love her writing, its almost like she is right there telling you the story. I also like Augusten Boroughs, I have read all but his newest book, and plan to get soon. I am currently Reading "Anna's Story" by Jenna Bush. I absolutely love to read, I am actually working on creating my own home library, and I collect Books where ever possible. I have a whole cabinet of vintage and antique books, and odd books from other countries.

I love anything by Tim Burton, Nightmare before Christmas is one of my favorites, but any movie he creates i'll watch! Can't wait until Alice in Wonderland comes out! I also have a weakness for Anime!! I love Ghibli Studios! I have seen all their movies except Panda Go Panda - I can't seam to find it anywhere!!! ( I do have a big stuffed panda from the show though that I got from Japan!). Howels Moving Castle, My Neighbor Totoro, The Cat Returns are by far my favorites, and I would love to receive anything that has to do with these movies, sometimes i go on ebay and find ghibi items!

Monday nights were always Boston Legal ( I am still mourning the end of the show), and Thursday's Grey's Anatomy...but the rest of the week we generally watch Discovery, TLC, BBC or the new Planet Green Channel...I love 17 and counting, untold stories of the ER, and the life stories on BBC.

I love collecting Postcards - anykind is great ! I especially enjoy when a personal touch has been added, a recipe, stickers, ect....always makes it a fun surprise. I like to see places around where you live - Country, City, Animals, or Strange Plants only in your area. I also enjoy Fantasy and Art Postcards, and Interesting Add Cards. I like to create my own postcard designs, and have them printed up to retail postcards to send out to everyone, So you may be get to see my own art work :)

I love Black & White Photo, or Vintage Photos, of places, things, animals, anything. I think any photo can be a work of Art once it's Black & White...

I love receiveing anything that has to do with Tibet, India, Bhuddism, The Dali Lama ( I adore him, read most of his books)

I also like Oriental, South American, or Native American Indian items such as Postcards, Photo's, or Trinkets. I Love learning about cultures of other countries or religions, and I would love to know something about yours! I love books, pictures, or other items that teach about your area or culture.

Favorite Colors: Olive or Army Green, Deep Blue

Favorite Foods: Most Anything Italian. I love Tea and Coffee. and I absolutely love Cheese - all kinds (odd combo but thats me)

Mushrooms - Please do not send me any recipes with them...I really do not like the idea of eating them -it's gross :P.
