Hi, my first name is Mary Paull - different i know - was named after my grandmother - Paull was her maiden name - or MP as a nickname - please no Mary as that drives me nutso.......married, mother of 3 boys (25, 21 & 13), work full time at an Episcopal Church (i'm catholic tho' BUT would never work where i went to church...know WAY too much LOL). Finding more time on my hands since the youngest doesn't need me 24/7 these days (i do miss that tho'!). Got involved at a craft board thru a friend from an ITP support board. I've now become addicted to making things. VERY novice here! My main hobby is taking photos of 'whatever' but love sunsets/rises the best!

Favorite Crafts

feeling more at home making things now! i enjoy making notecards (i use pics i've taken), and also now make all types of 'greeting, thinkin' of you' type cards - had a try at atc's (plus envelopes) and thought they were pretty fun, and just did envelopes - just couldn't figure out what to use for the 'licking' part? i also like making bookmarkers - they are all allowing me to become more creative which is fun

photography and just getting into crafting

after taking a 'leave of absense' from my life while raising children - i've found i now have time to read - i love books about history, or spy types - not blood and gore tho' and not nurse jane falls in love with dr whatshisname -

all time favorites - An Affair to Remember, Sound of Music (i know - i'm old & i love sap!), The Wizard of Oz, An American President

Favorite Television

don't spend too much time just sitting and watching programs - UNLESS the Steelers are on!!! like the history channel and the discovery channel and animal planet - not into any of the 'reality' shows or any series...since they took 24 off

oldies - country - opera -celtic - classical

Likes

sunsets/rises, flowers, nature, animals, listening to children laugh, being with my family, decorating for holidays

DISLIKES!

I HATE and I DO MEAN HATE!! spiders, heights, small spaces, things over my head, and being too close (which is within 1000 yds) of a horse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

About Me

I have an autoimmune disorder called Idiopathic (meaning not known how you get it or why) Thrombocytopenic Purpura - ITP for short - not something anyone can 'catch' - my body destroys my platelets practically as fast as they are made - platelets make the blood clot

Comment: How many times can I say I loved it!? Such a fantastic package, I just adore the ornaments - they are lovely! The shadowbox image makes me smile and giggle (don't think I didn't notice the shout out to the Steelers =-)) and is such a detailed image - I love it! Hey Mary Paull, thanks for the wishes for TMF. The swap cards are perfect. I love the Monet painting. And the deco tape is great. Yes, deco is for decorative. At least that is what I always thought. LOL Plus there was some cool stamps on your envie that I will cut out and keep.
