I'm a mid 20s married mom to be (baby due march 10, 2008). Update! My baby girl was born on March 1st! She's a sweet baby with a mild temperament. I love to take her for walks around my small town. She won't take a pacifier, but she doesn't cry much anyway! I love to knit and crochet but only small projects. I don't have the patience for things like sweaters!
I'm college educated in photography. I enjoy anything from abstract or eccentric black and white, to nature pictures and photos of people. I have a great macro lens that I love to use on closeups of everyday objects (things like curlers, or a pincushion!)
I love to bake! Cakes are my favourite!
Ongoing wish list for those of you that are interested in knowing :D
Hello Kitty anything!!
Micro fleece in a girly colour or print, so I can make my baby a hat and mittens set for the winter. Or you could make one for her, that would be equally swell :D A pattern for the set would help too :D She's going to be 9-12 months old this winter, and she's a big girl (size 18 months to be safe)
Quilting magazines or any quilting supplies
Fat quarters. Check out the Etsy Faves to see the kinds I like. Doesn't have to be the same as what's on the list though.
Roving for extra fluffy mittens (or a pair you've made for me!)
Anything for my baby. She's 4.5 months old.(born March 1st) She's a BIG girl so anything clothing related needs to be 12 months +
Anything with Chloé written on it. Without the accent is OK, but I will love you forever if you can get it on there! Chloé is my daughter's name.
A knitted hat and mitten set for my baby girl in a non-wool yarn. She'll be 9-12 months old this winter.
Knitted socks. I've never made a pair, but I'd like to learn how. You could share a basic pattern with me! Sock yarn isn't widely available here.
Foreign candies and snacks. I like anything you can get out of a British candy shop. I also like Japanese rice crackers.
Worsted weight yarns to make mittens with. I've already got a TON of plain acrylic yarns, but stuff you can't get at Walmart is wonderful (I cant get it here) Enough to make a pair of mittens and/or a hat is plenty!
Good sized magnets I can let my baby play with on the fridge.
Kawaii. I've never seen a roll of deco tape.
Chopsticks, or anything you'd find at China town!
Anything red for the kitchen
A handmade pincushion
Anything I can't get in Canada!
Anything pears! Especially kitchen items and artwork/prints.
I like lemon flavoured anything except tea!
Any nice photography. I have a lot of wall space to fill!!
All kinds of stickers.
Sizzix dies. I have the classic machine with the converter for small dies.
I just like getting mail. Tell me about your day! If you can I'd LOVE to receive a picture of you doing some everyday thing, such as doing dishes, feeding your cat/dog/bird/hamster/kid etc. This stuff makes me smile!
I'm TRYING to learn some Spanish. I already speak French, so if you can write to me in Spanish I'll have some fun trying to figure out what you've written to me! Absurd banalities are welcome as well. Pamplemousse dans la bibliotheque!
Anything from LUSH, except the stuff that goes into the bath water. I especially like Rock Star and Honey I Washed the Kids. I get a LUSH fix once a year when I go to Toronto.
I love anything you've taken the time to make.
I have never seen....
A whimsy jar.
Bento?
Deco tape
Morse bag
What is a stuffie? Inchie? Envie (I assume it's an envelope?)
I ♥ Hello Kitty. It is so hard to find in my area though :( So I only get a fix once in a while when I get lucky and find something I am searching for the perfect little coin purse. A friend of mine had a pretty beaded Cancer one... I'm an Aries and they didn't have any like that! I can appreciate eccentric and unique things. I LOVE shopping at craft shows and festivals and street vendors because you can always find something unique and exciting that you just can't get at a store! I love handmade headbands, and I frequently make some for myself and my baby daughter now too! I've just started getting into geocaching, so I'm always on the lookout for fun dollar store stuff to hide out in the woods!
I love John Grisham. I've read nearly all of his books. I'm currently reading the Runaway Jury. I never ever watch the movies first, because the book is always better.
My all time favourite movie is The Bird Cage! I also enjoy a good thriller! I'd say I'm a fan of movies in general... I'm not particularly crazy about action, western, or the kind of horror movies that are gory for the sake of being gory.
I'm a recovering reality-tv addict. I can't bring myself to give up the Amazing Race or Survivor, though.
My tv is almost always tuned to Food TV. There's just something inspiring about watching other people cook.
Knitting and crochet! Small projects only! I like the sense of accomplishment I get from finishing something! I'm a mitten and hat kind of girl. I also make baby stuff! Booties and hats are just adorable!

Wow! I love my Hello Kitty bag. It is wonderful. I took it to work today, just to show off. No court hearings today, so I could get away with it : )
I had to laugh because I had a package for you just about ready to go. It is on its way as of today. Hope you like it as much as I did mine.
