I'm in my first semester at Kennesaw State University, studying art. I've been swapping (against the age rules, but I really am 18 now, I swear on my life) since I was 16 and I really really love ATCs. I was raised as a huge science fiction nut, so that's a big part of my life. I always have to be doing something with my hands, whether it be typing, folding paper, knitting, or doodling. I've also been learning how to bellydance and I like to Zumba. I love foreign television, music, and art. I'm always looking for something new to inspire me and I love communicating with the rest of the world.

I like punk and punk-inspired music. But I also love folksy rock and acoustic guitar, as long as it is not country. I like dance/pop, usually from Taiwan (there is no reason for this, it just happened that way). I grew up listening to The Grateful Dead and Bob Dylan, so they have also had a huge influence on my musical tastes.

I like doing anything with paper and glue. My room is filled with paper craft toys and origami stars. I used to knit a lot, but I've fallen out of it because I couldn't figure out how to do any of the more complicated knits. I've never been able to get the hang of crochet either, no matter how much I would like to learn it. Sometimes I like to make things out of sculpey. I sew all of my own costumes.

My favorite animal is the octopus. I LOVE them. I think they're cool and magestic. I got into cephlapods by watching the National Zoo's webcam of their octopus a little too much. I really thought it was an intriguing animal

My favorite scents include: vanilla, pumpkin, lemon, citrus, and jasmine

I collect postage stamps and rocks. I dont go out of my way to collect stamps, I usually obtain my stamps by getting them off my mail or by buying old stamps at antique stores or flea markets. I will go out of my way for rock specimens.

Other things I like: -ribbon -origami paper -indian designs/rangoli/kolam, etc -containers of all shapes and sizes -paintbrushes -fish/ocean items -comics -pinback buttons (badges) -scifi/space related stuff -newspaper clippings

My favorite color is orange. My room is a blue and green motif, with an underlying black accent color, and some colorful polka dots.

I am an artist. I'm in school for art. I like art because it is something I am good at. It makes me feel good to create something that other people can enjoy. I work really hard at getting better. I don't believe in talent, I believe in practice. Anyone that works hard at something will achieve what others call talent.

I love oil painting. I've taken oil painting classes since middle school, but I haven't painted very much recently. I dont have the time and resources to do it right now. I can't wait until i can start painting again. I love mixing colors.

I HATE painting with acrylics. I have a lot of acrylics, I need them to use in my classes. I'm pretty good with acrylics, it works out alright. But they fail in comparison to painting with oil.

I draw a lot. My favorite thing to draw with is charcoal. I love the mess that it makes and how dark it can get. I've recently learned about a lot of new things you can do with charcoals, and it only makes me like the medium more. I draw with pencil if I need to do something out of the blue and don't want to clean up a big mess or have charcoal on me all day.

I have been drawing a lot of things with my black gel ink pen. I love these pens. I use them for everything in my everyday life now. From scribbles to zentangles to grocery lists and lecture notes, labeling envelopes and ATCs. I even use it in math class.

I have been using copic markers a lot recently in drawings and ATCs. If you recieve a handdrawn card from me, it is probably done with the black gel ink pen and copic markers.

Things I generally dont like: -stickers -christmas -glitter

Things that are NOT okay to send me: -candles -bath things, I dont have a bath, just a shower. I dont want these things to go to waste.

If you are going to send something to me via a private mailing company, such as FedEx or UPS, please send me a message or an email. These types of companies do not leave notices in my (tiny tiny) postbox, I have to go pick the package up from the front desk when I know that the package is there on my own. I will never recieve a notice of an arrival of package through UPS or FedEx, but I WILL recieve a notice if you send it through USPS/regular mail, so you do not have to worry about contacting me if that is the case.

My mailbox is very small, think tiny PO Box small. This mailbox is shared with my roommate as well. When you send something to me, if you think it may be a little too tall of a package to fit in my mailbox, please write "do not bend" on the envelope. My postwoman has been known to try and stuff things that shouldnt have been stuffed into my mailbox.

I ALWAYS try to rate as soon as I recieve a swap, but if I forget to rate you, please do not hesitate to message me or shoot me an email about it. I do not wish for anyone to go without a rating for something I got.

As for my own 1s, I sincerely apologize. I promise that these were all sent out, but failed to reach their final destination. All of these things happened a long time ago and there is nothing I can do about it now. I do regret one swap, in which ATCs were returned to me but I failed to mail them out again. I apologize for this as well.

If you do not recieve something from me in a swap, please contact me as soon as you begin to feel uneasy! The chances are that the package/letter has been lost in the mail or has simply not arrived yet. If something like this happens, I will send you a replacement. Don't hesitate to ask! Sometimes I send things out very close to the deadline.
