October 6th 2009:
I just got my computer back, I have been without it since Friday, really a nightmare for a "computer-a-holic" ;-D I got on swapbot on Sunday by highjacking someone's "iphone-lookalike"-cellphone for a brief moment and mark send on a swap that I did send on Saturday (so they're sent but marked a day later!)

Also I just found out that the local postal-strike in Brussels has a great impact on international post. They began somewhere last week (on-and-off) and were still on strike yesterday. I didn't think it would have any impact as it is just a local strike (not in my province) but my mailwoman explained that everything international will go through Brussels... Please, if something doesn't arrive within time, let me know! I really hate strikes as that is the moment things get lost here... (if I had realised it would affect my packages, I would have asked not to send and if it was ok to wait for me to send 'till it was over.)

I am a photographer by birth, a designer by profession. I'm quite weird but in a good way, at least that's what my friends lovingly tell me.

If you detest smilies, don't communicate with me. I can't help it but I'm addicted to them. I find them quite helpful to give my words the necessary tone as English isn't my mother tongue and also because I do tend to communicate through facial expressions in daily life.

Most of my time gets consumed by my wonderful clever and oh-so-active little girl Sarah-Luna (6yo). She's the light of my life ^.^ She too loves her 2 Blythes and little petshops, Playmobil, lego,... She likes Barbie but not as much as her other toys. Beside those she loves drawing, painting, crafting, in short being creative...

My new love are dolls! Especially blythes but I've been drooling over some pullips, wonderfrogs and little apple dolls as well.

Comment: The box arrived this afternoon. I didnt know what to make of it, its the single largest package ive ever had delivered to my home from someone not my parents. Its certianly the biggest parcel Ive ever recieved from swap-bot. Not only that but I couldnt wait and opened up the package to find hand wrapped gifts, I know I wrote that for the swap and all but I opened them and now my house is full of these goodies. Thank you SO MUCH! I especially like the little grey witch, she has become my Mr's favorit, You can tell, shes upstairs in our room.
Response: I'm sooooo happy you like it all, I really planned to make more myself but the work I was expecting in September came in October and messed up all my craft-planning... Glad to hear the little witch has stolen a heart or 2, I loved her so much when I saw her, she's so cute but not in a silly way. ^_^

Sarah-Luna really had fun making that Goddess-rowhouse and I was so happy to finally alter one of these clocks for a swap ^_^ And that buttonfaery charm too, I love those but I haven't tried a "real" one yet (you know, the ones tied together with wire, not the glued down ones I make) Living in Belgium makes it nearly a mortal sin to buy less quality chocolate, it's by law expected that there is at least 30% real cacaobutter in "fine chocolates" (not talking about candybars) so they almost never leave a greasy taste behind in your mouth,... Mmmm chocolate :-D I'm so happy you enjoyed them! (sorry, I tend to ramble along these days...)

Do you have any tips for how to use it? I also love the pot holders and dishtowel. Your reciper book was put together so nicely! Thank you for your dedication with this swap and a lovely package!
Response: I'm so happy you like everything! I would think the mushroom seasoning would be good in chicken- and meat dishes... but maybe also on pasta and risotto? (I haven't tried it myself yet) Or maybe in some chickensoup? (creamy or broth-style) But all I can say is: Experiment & Enjoy ^_^

Response: Oooh, we're so glad you like them! I actually was looking for the golden/silver-coloured beads in the store but Sarah-Luna insisted on using the glow-in-the-dark beads so Santa would see the tree better in the dark :-D

Oh what a great package for our private swap! I love everything and can't really choose favorites but I do have to comment on that tiny button farie!!! I love her! Now, the chocolates??? Wow! I'm really a chocolate snob - most of it just tastes greasy and too sweet in my mouth, but the ones you sent - Wow - like melting silk with a delicate flavor that's not too sicky sweet at all! All the things you sent have special places in my heart and my home - thank you so much!!!

She's very into animals, playing vet, horses, Barbie princesses/faeries/mermaids, ballet, and stickers - of course...
