I am back in the USA!! Praise God that we arrived home from being overseas in Papua New Guinea. Thanks for all the support from my swap-bot friends. Things did not go as planned in a 3rd world country and we have returned to the US with eyes wide open and a new appreciation for what we have. It will still be another month before my shipping container arrives and I am in withdrawl from not participating since July. Merry Christmas everyone.

Shades of Purple, Red, Dark followed by milk chocolate, fairies, mermaids, the ocean and beach(this is my calm place), sailing especially on a catamaran, antique hunting, growing roses and veggies

And I don't mind receiving religious things, prayers, poetry, uplifting verses etc.

Don't feel that you have to follow my favorites, I like all colors and like to see peoples creativity.

Hi, I'm a Christian home school mom of 2 children. I have a daughter age 14 and a son age 12. I teach from a Christian non-denominational curriculum and I don’t mind receiving religious items in swaps. I color my hair a bright red and love fairies. I have a fairy tree in my room and many fairy dolls. I don’t believe in fairies, but they are beautiful and soothing to look at. I would call myself a romantic. I love sparkly things and am happily married to my high school sweet heart. My profession is a medical Speech Language Pathologist when I am not playing with my kids or my fairies. I am always in need of prayers to continue home schooling. It is challenging but very rewarding.

My favorite song is "You’re the Inspiration" by Chicago. It's my husband’s and mine love song. My favorite opera of all time is "Phantom of the Opera". But I like Top 40 and dance club music too. GUITAR Hero for Xbox rocks. I just got this for my birthday. I'm playing the drums with my kids and absolutely love it. We have our own band. I also listen to Christian music and my favorite song is “I Can Only Imagine” by Mercy Me…especially when my daughter sings it acapella. She also has written some music for the piano and her hymn “Spring Arises” is currently my favorite. Maybe someday she will get to publish it. It’s too beautiful not to share.

I am not a big TV/Movie person, but I like: Legend, Avatar, How to Train your Dragon, The Princess Bride, Zorro, The 10 Commandments, The Three Musketeers and movies where the good guys win.

CSI NY and CSI Las Vegas, Dancing with the Stars, the nature and history channels

BOOKS: The Bible, mystery stories, fantasy (Dragon Lance series), fairy poetry, love poetry, nature journals, classical writings

I am allergic to shellfish, wine, red food coloring, wintergreen, hibiscus or lemongrass.

In general I seem sensitive to alot of the fake colors and flavors. I prefer to eat fresh or with real ingredients.

I can't tolerate potpourri or strong perfumes and fake fragrances. But I do like real lavendar and roses.

Allergic to smoke and to kitties

I like to draw and paint. But like to make and experiment with other genres like clay as well. I would love to learn stained glass. I am loving swap-bot. I have met wonderful people from all over the world. It has been a blessing for me and I try very hard to share a blessing with each thing I make to share it with others.

I collect: -sand from beaches all over the world -sea glass, pieces of stained glass -fairies/mermaids/sea life -I am not overly fond of abstract art, but I do like Klimt's "The Kiss". I collect fairy art, and Kissing art.--things that remind me of my first kiss with my hubbie. I love pre-raphaelic art, -paintings of the sea and sailing.

Dislikes:
-Please no perfumes or artificial fragrances (natural dried herbs, lavender and roses are Okay) or else I’m sneezy. Please see the complete allergy list in the allergy section near the bottom of the page.

-no magnets please...my stainless steel frig does no accept magnets

-I am overdone on tinkerbell and Disney. -no bubble bath -no hershey’s - no lipton tea

Wish list:
-vintage papers, trim, lace and buttons

-fairy , angel or mermaid note cards and things

-sea glass, shells and sand from the beach

-little glass bottles to put my sand in and small tags to hang from them

-little charms or unusual beads to embellish my fairies

-oriental scrap papers or embellishments

-medieval stuff: dragons, knights, castles, swords

-paris stuff to decorate my craft room (I share with my daughter and she wants to go to Paris)

-small to medium silk flowers to make into doll dresses

-vintage chocolate signs, boxes or tins

-antique tea cups especially hand painted or Nippon

-flower stickers- the small 3-D kind that usually have several layers and a sparkly gem in the middle

Besides chocolate: I like Italian food especially lasagna made with my homemade canned sauce. I love to cook with fresh veggies and herbs from my garden. But I also like filet mignon, sausage gravey and biscuits and soup beans with corn bread--what a variety,huh.

My daughter, Amber was born on June 2, 1995 and will be 15 soon with long brown and blonde hair...her trade mark. She was also an advid ballerina and an apprentice with a ballet company until an unrelated knee injury and foot surgery for inherited bunions has kept her on the mend with lots of physical therapy over the past 3 years. She finally graduated from PT last month. Yeah!. This has allowed her to develop her ART!

She is very talented and wished she could have her own swap profile. Many of you have swapped with her and have had wonderful things to say about her artwork. Thank you!

She won and ART SCHOLARSHIP to Art Instruction Schools last October and will be earning 24 college credits in art. Art, Music and Sea Life are her passion.
