I am 45 years old. I am the coordinator of a childcare centre in a remote area of Australia. I have a 22 year old daughter who lives on the other side of the country thousands of kilometres away (boo hoo) and we talk on the phone almost every day. I now live with a very spoilt yellow labrador and a cranky old cat both of whom I love madly. The cat is madly in love with the dog and wants to groom him all the time!

Love reading but hardly get to do it. Am a member of a bookclub and read about half the books we get but still attend monthly even when I have not read the book as I love the discussion and company of the other women, very social. Love romance novels best, feel good humorous, tongue in cheek books that leave a smile on my face.

We do not have cinema here which I miss. Romantic comedies are my usual choice, action flicks I enjoy and period pieces. My all time favorite movie is the "Shawshank Redemption" which does not fit any of the genre that I usually like.

I am a bit of a couch potato and love heaps of television shows... too many to list but do not watch heaps as there are so many other things to do all the time. I am looking forward to the return of Greys Anatomy. That will be the show that will put life on hold briefly.

I enjoy papercrafts and love, love, love scrapbooking especially. It is my primary creative outlet...I jreally enjoy it, it's feeds my soul. Love the paper, rub-ons, chipboard and all of the wonderful stuff that allows me to explore my creative self while l compile snapshots of my families everyday life for those in the future. I get to be an 'Artistic Historian' and this pleases me no end.

I am a hippy at heart. I worry about the environment, the legacy that we are leaving for future generations.

For me life is abundant and so full of possibilities that I get frustrated that I do not have enough hours in the day to partake of all that is available to me.

I am blessed and so very grateful for all that I have.
