Evolutionaries, Mathematicians, BenFlowz, Man Man, Black Sabbath, Billy Bragg, The Jam, Minor Threat, Miles Davis, Cafe Tacuba, The Smiths, Johnny Cash, Ella Fitzgerald, Tommy Guerrero. I like everything, except modern country and sappy ballads (Michael Bolton, Celine Dion, etc.).

I enjoy knitting, crocheting, sewing, making funky dolls and new varieties of pets, bookbinding, goccoing, soldering things, and whatever strikes my fancy. I liken myself to a raccoon, always looking for the next shiny object.
The dark and macabre is stimulating, as is the ultra cute, i.e. Totoro, Sanrio, etc. The 30s & 40s were an amazing time for design, be it fashion, home, or graphics.
Let's see, what to say about myself? I am always busy doing something. I wish I had 5 lives going simultaneously, so I could do, see and learn everything that interests me. I am learning Spanish and am about to begin a class in Japanese - including reading and writing Hiragana :). Language is so interesting.
I love the ocean and try to get into it every chance I get. I surf.
I am an artist. I went to the SF Art Institute for film and graduated in 2006. Filmmaking is my passion, but I also do photography, textile art, ceramics, and collage.
I started sewing when I was six, and I liked it well enough, I guess. I wanted to be a fashion designer, but decided against it when I realized sewing made me angry. I think it's more mistakes and the seam ripper made me angry. Finally after 30 odd years, I am enjoying sewing. It's great.
