I love doing crafts, but haven't found my specialty. I love to "remake" envelopes, and swap postcards.

I love all things Hello Kitty. Especially stationery products. In fact, I love all kinds of stationery products (paper, pens, envelopes, postcards, handmade greetings, cards, pencils, stickers, stamps, etc.)

Related to the above paragraph, I LOVE writing letters, getting letters, sending letters, writing family newsletters, making funny stuff to send in the mail. I even reuse junk mail (which I love to get) and make new paper or reuse the envelopes (not the kind with postage already on it for businesses - although I do love to send junk mail back to credit card companies). All things mail. I've even taught classes on correspondence. I used to have pen pals before, but they have dropped off, little by little. I've even read books filled with other peoples letters & notes & lists, etc. I have been happy to have some new pen pals. What fun it is to make new friends! I am participating in Mailart 365, A Month of Letters, and More Love Letters.

I've spent my life working with children in one capacity or another. Youth at my church. Babysitting. Facilitating workshops for troubled youth & their parents. Taking care of my own kids while having half the neighborhood at my house on any given day.

Love, love, love to read. Anything clean. I especially adore youth fiction/fantasy & kids books. The Sunday morning paper. Brochures. Flyers. Cereal box labels. You name it. Would love to publish a book, but have no idea about what. Have just started making zines. Got four under my belt. Looking for inspiration to make more!

Have kept a journal since I was about 8 or 9 years old. (Now 43 - that's lots of journals.) I've just started adding some "art" to my journaling.

Also enjoy gardening, but am currently renting, so my garden is small at the moment.

My living room is decorated in Eiffel towers. Anything french is awesome. I lived there for about 18 months. Used to speak more fluently, but have been learning spanish for the past 16 years (husband is from Argentina).

I am also a couponer. We don't have pets or drink coffee, tea, or alcohol.

And I'm a blogger. I have a blog of my own (thestuffellaneous.blogspot.com), I contribute to the Mailart 365 blog, and I write blog posts as part of my part-time job. Never dreamed I'd get paid to blog!!!
