I'm a natural sciences student with plenty of unconnected hobbies. At the moment I'm obsessed with 1930's, especially music, commedies and style of living altogether. (I'm certainly getting some extravagant hat from that era.)
I like playing board games, participating in cipher-games, enjoy nature and outdoor activities (except for mountaineering) and I get very good rest by craftwork of many kind (often trying something new), like jewellery making, crochetting, making tatted laces, drawing...
My favourite music has always been "clasical" rock like Beatles, John Lennon, Led Zeppelin etc., but I love plenty of styles. Well... Joan Baez, BSP, Stromboli, Rolling Stones, Melody Makers, Jethro Tull, Sinead O'Connor... Recently I have discovered jazz and many good musicians.
I play keyboard since childhood, guitar (like play that tramp stuff by fire), started with harmonic, flute and darbuka.
For two years I've danced belly dances, used to do Israeli dances and salsa. And with jazz, here comes the swing to dance.
As for movies, I always liked commedies, but not those American crazy ones. I like black-and-white stuff from my country, British humor... My favourite movies are Rosencrantz and Guilderstern Are Dead, Chocolate, Hard Day's Night, movies by Miyazaki and many others. I love to laugh.
Choosing from series... Doctor Who (my Doctor is the fourth one), Torchwood (I fell in love with Jack :)) , Mash, Hercule Poirot, Četnické humoresky, Addams Family, X-Files... I enjoy being fan of these series, so anything Torchwood or Doctor Who or so themed may be nice :)
Now something about my favourite books. I've always been a great reader, so there are many. I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter (but never saw movies - and not going to), Terry Pratchett's Discworld, Jane Austen's books, Saturnin, When the Rains Came, Alice in Wonderland... I don't like the romantic stuff very much.
chocolate (preferably dark - 60%, no white)
tea (from China and India)
robots, droids (R2D2 or C3PO from Star Wars, K-9 from Doctor Who)
wolves, werewolves
useful things in miniature size
notepads, because I'm writing maniac :) A5 is my size ;) But I use practically anything at school.
I prefer green or natural colors; black and silver are ok too
above-knee socks, size EU 38/UK 5.
stationery with green ink, something natural decorated...
hair-stuff (I have reeeally long hair, so I'm always happy to get something new to do them)
vintage
anything oriental or exotic
fans of any kind (paper, fabric, feather...)
hats, berets
minerals
pantomime
earrings (I have pierced ears) and jewellery (homemade as well)
costumes (mostly just specific detail of some character than all the appearance; like John Lennon's glases)
recipes from every place in the Universe. I would prefer them on A6 format (portrait-oriented) card, so I can easily add them to my cook-book. That means 14,8x10,5 cm maximum; it can be smaller, but not bigger. But please avoid boiling tomatoes.
music sheets. Show me what music you like to play! :)
I collect chocolate wrappers from all the world and I would be happy to find out, how chocolates are wrapped in your country :)
I'm not a modern person, which looks a little bit weird for my age.
anything too cute or romantic, kawai
angel-decorations
white chocolate
coffee
alcohol or anything so flavoured
smoke
peppermint, eucalyptus... well anything minty. Smell or taste, doesn't matter.
gold, shiny and sparkling colors - but I like silver
buttons
plastic materials
And to contact me: I speak Czech (therefore understand similar languages), English and German (if German is your home language, I would appreciate you writing me in German so I could learn). Working on more.
Last thing: I you think you should have received a package from me and you didn't, please contact me so we can work it out. Also I really appreciate ratings. I send most of swaps overseas, so there is quite lots of chances for mail to get lost - by a rating I can see that I don't have to worry anymore. Thanks!
I love tea. Especially white and green tea from India and China. I prefer unflavoured loose tea, but I'm always happy to try some new flavours, when I get a teabag to test, so basically anything is OK. I'm not much into black tea, not even flavoured, because my stomach seems to disagree with most of it. (There is an exception: Earl Grey.) And I never really cared for teas from Japan, but in this case I'm willing to be persuaded - I might have never tried a really good one.
Herbal teas are quite common in our country, so I am used to drink them as water, unless it is something really special. I like camomile tea. Just no minty stuff, no peppermint at all and also no liquorice, that makes me sick. And that goes for flavours too. I don't like lemon, but love oranges though :) And vanilla, mmm. And oranges with vanilla...!
I like fruit tea without lemon. I also got some seasonal tea mixtures from America, it was sweet and good (Bigelow brand), I would drink rooibos or honeybush with sweet flavours (caramel, vanilla...) or with oranges.

Welcome to Swap-Bot!
I ♥ the Harry Potter books and movies. The movies could have been better though. I'm constantly reading. I've tried to read Jane Austen many times but just can't get past the first few chapters. Someday though! :)
I love notebooks but seem to collect them more than use them. :)
hair accessories...I have long hair and have had the same style since high school. I bead hairsticks but never knew how to use them. I started to learn from youtube videos on how to use them. :) Now I love them.
