I'm a mom of 3 ages 14-21. We live in south Florida. I'm a commercial writer and self-employed which leaves me plenty of flex-time for art :0)

I love animals and am a foster mom for a few dog rescues in my area. I love all dogs but english bulldogs and Pugs are my favorites!

I have a white shepherd named Bullet and a menagerie of cats.

ATCs, scrapbooking, stamping, knitting, anything--just show me how to do it!

Right now I'm getting into gold leafing for papercrafts and exploring alcohol inks. Next on the list is watercoloring on ATCs. I want to paint those amazingly small landscapes.

I'm the unofficial family archivist and am in the process of scanning every photo the family has. My dad's health is poor so I want to give him a great heritage album to enjoy as soon as possible.

SOMEDAY I will learn to blow glass. I've wanted to be a glass blower since I saw one working at Disney World when I was 2.

Horrors and comedies, too numerous to mention. The more vampires and werewolves the better (that mostly applies to the horror movies). The occasional indie movie (love ones form the UK) about anything catches my eye so I've really no hard and fast rules. Love, love, LOVED the HP films so far. I love animals but can't watch animal movies because they always make me bawl.

I loved the Harry Potter series but usually read non-fiction. I'll read anything but a sappy romance as long as it's interesting but forensic medicine and forensic psychology are special interests AND QUOTES! I love quote books!

Pretty eclectic...Johnny Cash, Tool, RATM, Richard Cheese, Killers, Mary J. Blige, U2, AC/DC and other 70's ilk...big fan of live dance and hip-hop mixes.

Every day deserves its own soundrack, no?

Adult Swim! DIY shows and some cooking. Also COPS for some reason.

After looking at other profiles mine was seriously lacking so here's some more info about me.

I love watercolor pencils--any color--and rubber stamps or stamped images.

Anything glass--beads, buttons, embellies, tiny glass tiles, even glass rods (the kind for glass blowing). Glass glitter practically brings me to tears!

Images of dragonflies but not the cartoony kind. Same for fairies and vampires and werewolves. Old medical and botanical illustrations and maps, old sheet music and text...all things I love to create with or sometimes just ferret away all for myself ;0)

COLOR--cool colors are usually my favorites (think dragonfly wings or junebugs) but I love intense color no matter what it is. The only color I don't like is "burnt sienna" that orangey brown color we all know from our crayon boxes.

I'm agoraphobic and have panic attacks. These things are hardly favorites but if you're my partner and "get it," cool. Art and crafts help me a lot in managing both.

I LOVE anything tattoo-inspired. Old school (like rockabilly style), new school, B&W or color, I love it all.

Blow Pop suckers, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and plain old Hershey's Milk Chocolate (my favorite!) are what satisfy my sweet tooth when it acts up.

After being away for a while I'm glad to be back on Swap-bot and look forward to swapping myself silly!
