Hello potential partner! I'm an empty-nester recently back into my art and writing after a long career in evil corporate America. So happy to be back and so many mediums for me to play with! I'm a big knitter, also love working with vintage items and making them over for a new life - kinda like where I'm at in my own life at the moment. I have a real weakness for DAM trolls from the 60's which were my childhood fav toy and my collection is very impressive. I have a huge glass and vintage bead collection, and a great workshop full of treasures to build into my projects. I am a true CONTAINER JUNKIE. I am a real nature girl - camping, birds, gardening and I avoid PLASTIC whenever possible. I am campaigning to stop mass production and encourage people to buy hand made things. Swapping and Etsy are my heroin. I prefer swaps that have a practical purpose as well as art. ie: a box, bag, wearable, storage item, bookmark, greeting card, etc. I am a poodle owner (rescued her) and collector and find gourmet cooking to be a favorite sport as well. I just started back to sewing and am enamored by Janpanese print fabrics. I am a wanna-be vegetarian and am focused on staying really healthy. I am forever decorating my home and entertain for any old excuse I can think of. We have Florida Keys-like party deck out back called the Shrimp Shack where we spend most of the summer. I love incorporating my art into any and all life activities and I try to buy handmade as much as possible. I read a lot, and am a total green living girl - camping (in a tent seriously!), biking, hiking, X-country ski, gardening. Hope this helps and can't wait to "meet" you! Music is a big part of my every day life. FAVORITE COLORS: Blueberry blue with melted vanilla ice cream and a splash of Granny Smith apple green. OR Teal, with Chocolate Brown and a splash of orange. No one color by itself, but nice combinations like that one. !

Depends on the mood, just about anything EXCEPT jazz, head banging metal, or country - sorry and no offense. I have many friends who adore all okay? (Hey, I do actually like John Denver, if that's even country, blue grass and one or two occasional heart stopping ballads - and well, Willie Nelson--Duh.) Jazz holds too many reminders of my ex and we don't want that now do we??? FAV's at the moment: Heart, Bonnie Raitt, INXS, Sheryl Crow, Classic Rock, The Who, Led Zepplin, The White Stripes, Gin Blossoms, Marc Cohn, 60's and 70's, CSNY, Meditation and New Age (esp flute), Chicago, The Beatles, Marc Cohn, Aimee Mann, Eva Cassidy, Rat Pack, Michael Buble, all things British invasion, Roxette (reminds me of number one dude in my life...and we love that.)

I despise violent movies that leave me feeling sad and depressed. Make love not war.

Mostly instructional or growth oriented stuff. Really DONT care for network TV at all.

I really don't like plastic things for the most part. No Kawaii or Hello Kitty, etc. No Dollar Store stuff please. I especially love all things found in nature, cool fibers, wood, leaf green, pods, seeds, shells. I collect cool artsy calling cards, MOO cards, etc.)Favorite flavor: lemon! My favorite season is autumn and I have a penchant for pumpkins. Halloween is a real team sport at my house and we are famous as being the "scary house" on the block. With over 250 trick or treaters, we go all out! One of my ancestors was executed in the Salem Witch Trials, so it's kind of a national holiday for me. And I make a great witch - just ask my son. :)
