Mom of two who loves to make things. Interests are all decos: I love to make them and have them made for me of: Hello Kitty, Valentines, Day, colors: green and pink, hearts, cutesy things that a mom could share with her dainty 7 year old "princess", and recipes. I love to swap post-secret style postcards. My sweet little family includes a Japanese husband, a Korean daughter, and a Portuguese mixed son. I am trying to learn to speak Korean. 안녕하세요? It's fun! I'm totally enamored with the ideas of eating locally and organically and have a huge home orchard in my backyard. I want to live off the land and share my bounty. I also am very interested in being earth-conscious and leaving a small carbon footprint. I go to the Farmer's Market at least twice a week and more in the spirng and summer. I am lucky to be in Northern California where we have year round markets in Berkeley and San Franncisco. I love snail mail but am looking to use more email to save the environment!

Anything about eating disorders and cookbooks...makes sense! I also thrive on slpw food cook books and books about people who eat locally or try and live off the land. I am a huge fan of poetry and haiku. My favorite poet is ee cummings. I adore reading books about food issues such as Michael Pollan, Jessica Prentice, John Robbins, Alice Waters, Barbara Kingsolver (you must read Small Wonders) and those sorts.

I will laugh forever over Larry David: Curb Your Enthusiasm and The Office: English version but I rent them on DVD. I don't have time for TV.

I am a woman who loves my life which is filled with a loving husband and kids, friends, a great job but is haunted by my horrible childhood. I lost my mom unexpectedly 9 days after her dad died, my wonderful grandpa and I grieve constantly.

I am also a woman who strives to leave a small carbon footprint. I am obsessed with organic foods, eating naturally, how to live naturally and holistically. My husband and I have started an organic orchard in our backyard where we are growing our own fruits and vegies. It is fun and maddening...damn garden pests and varmits!
