First let me say, please no tea or food items for me and no make up items. I can't believe people swap things like that on here. Didn't your mom ever teach you not to take food and candy and stuff from strangers? Eeeek!

I am a Christian. I'm married to a great guy. I have an art group on Yahoo. I am a grand mother ( that is hard to imagine still ) of a little girl who is 3. I am the mom of 7 dogs, 6 cats and a herd of miniature equine and 3 parrots, and any wild or stray animal or bird that shows up on our acreage. Dogs and dolphin and giraffes also donkeys, sheep , and camels are my fave animals.I once worked as a vet tech and also in an exotics pet shop. I was also once kissed by a camel and played with a baby tiger and had the awesome experience of petting a giraffe at the zoo ( his idea! ) and some wolf pups.

I have been doing various art for most of my life. You name it , i have probably had my fingers in it, or want to. I learned a little crochet as a child and had a chance to do some pottery in school and was Advanced Art teacher's aide in Jr High.

I love to travel with my hubby . We like to go out to eat and do photography together and sometimes take trips on our motorcycle just to do photography of the area and enjoy the ride.We both have tattoos and bought each other our own tattoo machines last Autumn. I am looking for a couple of pretty dragonflies ad fairies to add to my collection. Fish too i think. And plan to add my grand daughter's name.We have recently gotten into playing cards.Namely a game called hand and foot which requires many decks of cards.I need decks of regular playing cards real bad! Ones with interesting or pretty backs.

I like to cook creatively sometimes. I adore the beach and also the mountains in the snow. We love nature and have been living out in the country for 6 years after living in Houston all my life.

I am not "politically correct" and have no desire to be. I believe Americans need to buck up and stop being such whiney babies about every little tiny thing.I also believe in freedom of speech . I also think it stinks that no one is allowed to say anything against anyone ,unless of course if they say it against fat people or a Christian , then it is no holds barred.I also think it is sad that if you disagree with false doctrine you are suddenly a horrible nasty person. The bible says to disagree with it. Also says in the end times people will not listen to sound doctrine but heap to themselves teachers to tickle their itching ears and tell them what they want to hear. I do not understand people that say Christianity is about spreading hate. It is about love. Christ was not a hate monger nor should His people be. But the people who say we are hate mongers seem to have much more hatred in their heart than most people i have ever met , Christian or not. Makes no sense. And it is very sad that they will not listen long enough to hear about the love. America worries me...(Remember that ANYONE can say they are a Christian and go to church. Doest make it so any more than saying you live in a garage makes you a car. Anyone spreading true hatred of PEOPLE is absolutely NOT a Christian .)But love does not condone everything and love does not always feel good at the moment. Think of your child thinking you are mean and hateful for not letting them do any number of harmful things they want to do. By the way, i do believe it is a God given right not to be a Christian if you so choose.

As of Jan.15.2008 I am celebrating becoming a home owner for the first time in my life! I am so thrilled! I need everything but kitchen stuff, so i may slow down on joining swaps a bit.But not toooo much :-)

Bicentennial Man , old Bette Davis movies such as Now Voyager and Dark Victory and All About Eve and most B&W movies. Forrest Gump , The Green Mile , Fried Green Tomatoes, Mirrormask , Wizard Of Oz, Silence of the Lambs, The Shawshank Redemption, Hud , And The Band Played On , And Then There Was One , A Thief In The Night ,A Star Is Born, Beyond Rangoon ,This Property Is Condemned , A Patch of Blue ,Slingblade , Nature Of The Beast, The Notebook, Steel Magnolias ,Terms of Endearment which was filmed in River Oaks and Galveston Island and the Heights Area in Houston near where i lived most of my life . I could go on and on. I love old B&W movies as they really had substance to them. Cirque Du Soliel, although it isnt actually a movie , but i enjoy the DVDs of their performances. Especially Quidam. Veggie Tales .

Twin Peaks re-running on Chiller again , Craft shows , Forensic Files and the like , Crossing Jordan, American Gothic , old stuff like Mary Tyler Moore and Three's Company , Welcome Back Kotter , The Carol Burnette Show , All In The Family. I dont like most of the t.v. shows out these days. Thank the Lord for satellite t.v. Preachers i like that are on satellite are John MacArthur , Charles Stanley , and Ravi Zacharias. I wouldn't give you two cents for most of the so- called preachers on t.v. though. Discernment is the key...Trash and false teaching in, trash and false teaching out. If they promise you riches watch out!

Whatever strikes my fancy on any given day.Maybe ATCs, 4x4s , scrapbooks, cards, crochet,photography,altered books and journals, matchboxes , and zentangles , the list goes on forever... I am hoping to find out how to make and donate crocheted blankets and such for babies of poor families who have died to be buried in. Also for babies and children with A.I.D.S. or other illnesses like cancer. I think St. Jude's is a worthy place to support as well as the Shriners Childrens' Hospital were my mother spent most of her childhood. As well as the A.I.D.S. foundation and all cancer research. Also animal shelters. I am wondering if there are things you can make and donate for the animals...hmmmm

Fish aquariums, video games , especially Sims and the Myst type of games , cooking , playing cards ,gardening, motorcycling with my husband , photography,traveling, Apologetics, snowmobiling in Colorado, swimming when we can get to the beach or in our pool, fishing on our boat, singing with the radio really loud in my van , reading anything but instructions , trying to get into exercise and healthier eating and vitamins again, random acts of kindness via snail mail or in person. Getting into pen pals.Doing something nice for a stranger like holding the door,saying hello, giving a compliment etc.Collecting Post Cards from the show Twin Peaks. Send me these and i will give you a big heart! Or anything else having to do with Twin Peaks.Let's not forget playing cards with pretty backs on them!

Anything to do with Paganism, Astrology, Catholic, including crucifixes and madonnas, Nudes, Porn , no other religion except Christian , non- charismatic, no "Word Of Faith" stuff. Please no Tarot, Runes, Harry Potter ,Vampires , witchcraft and the like. I have tried that stuff and want nothing more to do with it. Also no cartoonish stuff especially mickey mouse. Although i do like Frosty the Snowman and the Grinch and the Peanuts gang and B.C. NO FOOD ITEMS PLEASE INCLUDING TEA., save your stash for you :-).No Santa.No Halloween. I do not like Mauve. However, serial killer, cemeteries and headstones and gothic flavored are ok.Zetti is ok too. No Dragons or ogres. Please no food items at all and no lip gloss or balms.No Button or Beaded Fairies,they are creepy to me for some reason...All the other fairies are great!Not into Kawaii and the like.

Autumn, Vintage , Bright , Pastel, Sea Life, Shabby Chic, Zetti , Lacey and girly , Rustic , Hearts , Gothic, odd and unusual,skeleton keys , locks, arched doorways ,conservative Christian, intricate door hinges ,time or old pocket watches , snowmen, nature, graffiti ,dragonflies, flowers ,abstract, animals especially Giraffes and Dolphins ( not necessarily together lol). I love almost anything well done with some thought put into it. Anything from funny to shabby to fancy or elegant or glitzy. I am now getting into Fairies/Faeries and back into unicorns again.Just NOT the beaded or button fairies. And anything to do with Twin Peaks. I am absolutely addicted to Twin Peaks.Also Cirque Du Soliel and Nick Bantock types of things. Odd might sum it up or surreal or ethereal or fantasy. Like my paintings of regular ol'Chickens sitting in fancy chairs or anything like that which is presented as normal but isnt... you get the idea.

Decks of normal playing cards with interesting or pretty backs on them. Anything but the same old red or blue backs. Donkey anything. I have miniature donkeys and one full sized donkey . They are sweet as dogs! Skeleton keys. Old Hymnals and dictionaries with illustrations. Magazine clippings of photos or art for collage. Bird feeders both humming bird and seed. Wind chimes made of bamboo , i love the sound. Rubber stamps . Craft supplies. Lace and lacy ribbon or trim. Natural bamboo tiles from place mats. All things Twin Peaks. Pens , any and all kinds of pens. I love unusual looking pens and pens from pharmaceutical companies or from any other place with their name on it. I love colored pens that write well and are micro fine tipped. Pastel pens only if they write well, so many are just awful. Fine tip pens are very wonderful now that i have discovered zentangles.

Please contact me if ever a swap i am supposed to send you doesn't get to you on time. I will always send on time unless something big comes up and i cant ,so it will be a postal error 99 % of the time and we can fix that. If you get a swap from me that had postage owed i will reimburse you. I take everything to the post office to be weighed when i can , which is almost every time i mail something.

I am starting to get into Fairies/Faeries. ( NOT beaded or button fairies please ).I would like to collect fairies and little houses and doors for them. Also cute little mice like House Mouse .Any Twin Peaks paraphernalia. Any small embellishments for ATCs and Matchboxes. Recording of Kelly Schappa singing "Hey Lady". Picture frames in all sorts of sizes. Especially any i can paint or decorate , old or beat up is fine. A copy of the old book " The Runaway's Diary ". Things with any of the following on it...leaves,giraffes,dolphin,seahorses, dragonflies,snowmen,snowflakes,nautical or ocean stuff, game themes , damselflies , fireflies, bookworms wearing glasses. And magazine clippings or whole magazines with lots of pics in them would get you hearts! Especially National Geographic or any that aren't your typical women's magazines.Smooth , very smooth ,watercolor paper or very thick white or black card stock , even pieces as small as 3x3.Did i mention normal playing card decks with interesting backs on them? Books or sets with instructions on how to play various card games or dice or domino games.

Things for my grand daughter, Vienna... She is 3. Loves green and blue. Loves veggie tales. Anything with her name on it. Loves flowers and ocean stuff and pretty fish. She will have her own room in my new house for when she visits. It will be blue and green primarily. With splashes of purple and other bright colors.

Hubby loves the Lord and the same Christian authors that i do adding Adriene Rogers, tools and yamaha road star and victory motorcycles , tractors, antique trucks , Australian stuff but not crocs, old fashioned wooden and handmade cloth etc Christmas ornaments. I would love craft embellishments for scrapbooks in these themes for his pics. He loves mexican food and chinese food ,so any good recipes for those are very appreciated!Decks of regular playing cards with interesting backs.
