Where to start?

I've been away from Swab-Bot since December. As sometimes happens, life became a drama, finances were a mess, family were unsupportive, and I decided to take a break.

I thought I had squared away all swaps here, and was comfortable with slipping out quietly and letting you all get along with your happy swapping.

My dear friend alerted me recently to a missing swap, which I have come back to rectify. Alas, there is also another missing swap (same postal run grrr) and it appears I missed a couple of WTA's too.

I want to assure everyone these will be fixed ASAP. I really am sorry for the trouble, and to be quite honest I am totally devastated that I made such a mess up in the first place. I should have checked to make sure the swaps were received, and I damn well should have kept better track of the WTA's.

I won't be returning to SB, I'm not comfortable knowing that I disappointed people, or that my personal life could very well get in the way again.

I have a LOT of messages to sift through so if you have sent anything important please bear with me while I find it.

I do appreciate everyone who I have met here, and has been so kind. Thankyou :) I hope you all have a tonne of fun swapping!

When I let you know your original package had not been received (Nov 30th) you said that you would re-send. Due to Christmas approaching, I said that there was no hurry, but I have not heard anything from you since, and see that you have now not logged in since December 28th. Hope everything is okay with you; please let me know what is happening.

Comment: Christie, oh my goodness! What a wonderful fall-ish package! First, you have stolen my heart with all the hot chocolate... generous, generous girl! I love your handmade recipe cards, complete with photographs! Yum and yum, they all look very tasty. And your lovely long letter - I do live in a hot climate so we don't really experience autumn here, but your description made it come alive (even though you're in spring right now.) I adore the felties - until I read the letter I thought they were grumpy koalas. Now that I know what they REALLY are, they're even better! I can't wait to try the Milo - I opened it up first thing to smell it because I am a *freak* for malt. This is going to be my new favorite thing and I may just hoard it and not share (I loved all your serving suggestions.) Thank you so much for all your thought and effort - it was such a treat to open.
Response: Woo! So glad it arrived! I was kinda worried about the Milo - it's supposedly ok, but you just never know what is going to get confiscated! I'm glad you enjoyed everything, I had so much fun making the felty magnets - my fiance says they look like grumpy koalas too lol which was ok, seeing as drop-bears are described as psycho koalas :P If you run out of the Milo and want more, let me know! I'm always happy to supply people with the awesomest drink in the world :P <3

Comment: I love this coloring book. It is by far one of the best swaps I've ever gotten. I could never actually color it. Also, I'm glad you too now like Chococat. I've always considered him a boy LOL XD but they never really say what it is.
Response: Woohoo! I had a blast making the colouring book for you :D It really was a challenge to draw on such a large scale (compared to what I am usually doing anyway!). DO DO DO colour it! Or paint in it (which is why I did the pages one-sided), or anything :P I'd love to see it coloured ;) I'm so happy you love it *hugs* and I am going with Chococat being a he too :)

Comment: Again OMG! You sent so much and one thing made me more amazed than the first. Am not sure where to start....Your tiny dotees have to sweet faces and they look just so lovely. I love especially the black angel kitty, he is so tiny and cute, reminds me so much of my dead cat. This is most special to me! Also the tiny stuffies you made are simply great. It felt like Christmas, thanks so much for such a wonderful package, made my day!

mmmm, mug o' Milo! I had mine in hot milk but I definitely understand the attraction for eating it with a spoon - I kept licking my finger and dipping it into the dry powder. Next time I'll make it in cold milk so I can have the crunchy goodness on top! Thanks again!
