I love life and love to laugh! I live with my two furkids (cats) - Belle & Ollie. I have two grown children and six grandchildren. I work full time at a job that I really enjoy. My home is in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

I will listen to all types of music except country. My favorites are 60's/70's music (Beatles, Stones, Van Morrison, Janis Joplin, Eric Clapton, Eagles, Journey with Steve Perry to name a few).

I enjoy reading just about any type books...both fiction and non-fiction. However, I don't like horror and science fiction.

For book swaps, I love fiction, how to, history, crafts, various religions (I love studying about religions), picture books...pretty much whatever you would like to send. :-)

I don't watch many movies, but when I do...I prefer something lighthearted and fun. My favorite classic is "African Queen" with Humphrey Bogart and Katharine Hepburn.

I tend to scan the channels until I find something interesting to watch. I'll watch just about anything except horror / science fiction / MTV. I liked MTV when it was all about music videos. Now it's just another reality channel. I'm a news junkie so the TV is most often on a news channel.

I enjoy embroidery, xstitch, sewing, paper crafts and miniatures (1/12 scale). I'm hoping to re-learn to crochet. I would love to learn to knit, also. I don't limit myself to these, though. I always love to try something new.

I LOVE postcards and have been collecting them for many years. I prefer to get postcards that have not been written on and are sent in envelopes. But, if this isn't possible, naked cards are also welcome! I don't care for the perforated postcards torn from a postcard book. I enjoy receiving all kinds and subjects. However, my favorite topics are: maps, historical sites, trees, animals, witches, bridges, people, castles and ruins, birds and Boy's Town Nebraska / Father Flannagan.
