About Me

Hi, my name is Isabell, I´m 34 years old and live in Kempen, Germany. Kempen is a small city in the west of Germany near the border to the Netherlands. I live here together with my boyfriend,his two youngest kids( 16 and 18 years old)and his mom 87.Its a lot of fun with them, but sometimes its crazy,too:)! We have a dog, her name is Bonnie and shes a mix between German sheperd , Collie and who knows?, shes very cute! You can see her on my flickr site. My hobbies are reading, writing and receiving letters from my penpals,crafts,gardening, walking with Bonnie, flea markets, collecting all kinds of stuff, TV... I also love postcards and really started to collect them about a year ago, I`m a postcrossing member.

Favorite Television

I like to watch TV,but don`t have a lot of time.My favorites are House, M.D.,CSI, CSI Miami and ER.

Favorite Crafts

I love making dotee dolls! I also like scrapbooking, bead crocheting,cross-stitching...I like to try everything!!!

Favorite Music

I love country music, but I think I`m the only one that does here in germany, if you tell someone here, they think you are crazy. Thanks to internet radio I can listen to it:)

I would like to receive:

I collect pressed pennies , so if you are looking for something to send me, one from where you live would be great:). If you would like to do a private trade, let me know! I love dotees and everything you need to make them,( fabric,beads,charms, buttons) I love all colours,especially bright ones, red,pink,turquoise,blue,earth colours,I like butterflies, dragonflies,lizards, frogs, fairies, angels...anything country ,native american,mexican folk art(I would love to receive something related to Dia de los muertos!!!), souvenir fridge magnets ( my boyfriends mom always steals mine away because she collects them,too:), rubber stamps, vintage stuff, handmade things, stickers, postcards from your country,anything Las Vegas or Route 66, US state quarters

Im really happy about everything you send, as long as its not bills:), we get enough of those!

Comment: Yahooo! My darling little doll arrived today! She is absolutely adorable. I love her little hat. And the gingerbread heart that you made for her is so sweet. My children were very happy to see the gummi bears. They are so delicious. I love all of the postcards. Your country is so beautiful. I especially like the one of the men doing the Schuhplattler dance. Although the castles are beautiful. Thanks for the beautiful wishlist group postcard you sent me. I adore the piccy and have it up on my kitchen wall. I love the postage stamps also, and am having a hard time deciding whether to steam them off the card, or leave them on there for when it goes into my postcard album.
