About Me

I have been married for 17 years and have 2 children, a girl age 15 who is into neon colors, learning to drive and school, and a boy age 13 who is into video games, computer and basketball. My husband collects any type of unusual lighters. I like to garden and spend time outdoors in the warm months. I keep very involved with my family and friends and enjoy writing letters, crafting and playing on the computer. I like to cook and try new recipes. We enjoy camping also. I love stationery, labels and pens. Like M&M characters and merchandise, anything cooking related, anything unusual or different, etc. There's not much I don't like! I love to bargain shop,and dollar store and craft shopping, magazines, tea with caffiene (not coffee), cats, Halloween & Christmas, summer and hot weather, hand lotions, lip balm, cool websites, retro, food, nuts, chips & dips, and anything handmade or homemade. I love anything different and unusual, "off the wall" and out of the ordinary! I don't have a favorite color-love them all! I do prefer bold, earthy, bright colors over pastel colors. Have a dog that is spoiled and loved. He is a chihaha/terrier mix.

Favorite Music

I like many kinds of music, but I especially like classic rock, oldies and the older disco music. I like lots of different kinds of music from Aerosmith, The Cars, Elvis, Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, and any older rock to easy listening and Motown music, to Lady Gaga, Adam Lambert and Katie Perry.

Favorite Movies

I don't have a favorite movie, but like to watch comedy and dramas. I usually don't care for action-packed movies. I also like mysteries, thrillers, and horror.

Favorite Television

Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Dancing with the Stars, American Idol, The View, and Ellen.

Favorite Crafts

I love simple and general crafts.I like to go to craft and stationery sites on the computer. I like to make computer and paper crafts. I like to print stationery, address labels, enclosures, cards etc. I'll try almost any craft. I love to crochet. I like "off the wall" crafts. Love to make recycled crafts. I really enjoy receiving handmade items, they are my favorite!

My daughter helped me open them and was thrilled that there was stuff for her and of course, hubby will be happy with the butterscotch! Very intrigued with that lemon pepper chocolate bar too!! Comment: WOW!! Again!! As always, you go above and beyond! As soon as I saw who the package was from, I knew I was in for a treat. I opened the first one — great job on the hat! I tried knitting, and I couldn't do it. I've never tried to crotchet. I have "Mike's hat" on display in my office with my Monkees collectibles. And then the holidays never seemed to end! Loved everything and the tags were so cute! Did you make them? Can't wait to try the popcorn for the next Bears game or movie night, whichever comes first. When I opened up the pumpkin designs, I laughed so hard (Dwight was on top!). Don't know if I'm talented enough to make them work, but I'd love to have the Don Draper pumpkin! Talk about a yummy treat! Thanks again for making this such a special swap! And hosting it!

Comment: WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I came home to a FABULOUS package today! You went SO far above and beyond, it's amazing. Your interpretation of "watermelon" was so cute! And I LOVE the little whale and the journal is pink! I DO remember the little footless sandals--that really took me back. It's interesting that I also read Family Fun regularly! Even though my kids are grown. I had missed the issue you sent, so thank you. And the KITTY BOOKMARK!!! How could I forget that little pink kitty?!? SOOOOO cute. Comment: What a wonderful pkg! Thanks very much for the yarn and the rubber stamps. The rubber stamps are just perfect for me and I plan on using them for a seed swap I'm in and for ATCs. Have you used that yarn before? I've seen the lacy yarn in the store where they just knit into the edge and it makes a lacy/curly scarf, so I'm wondering if this would work like that? Many hearts to you (=^.^=)

Comment: got your great package and I must say you did quite a wonderful job! loved the cards and the smells in the pink box - some of my favs. And I can always use some new nail polish. But the funniest item was the gummy hearts - my hubby and I were just at the drugstore and when I picked up a bag of these he told me I didn't need them so I put them back. So it was so funny when I opened your package and there they were. So that goes to show that I really was meant to have them. Thanks again.
