About Me

I have been married for 17 years and have 2 children, a girl age 15 who is into neon colors, learning to drive and school, and a boy age 13 who is into video games, computer and basketball. My husband collects any type of unusual lighters. I like to garden and spend time outdoors in the warm months. I keep very involved with my family and friends and enjoy writing letters, crafting and playing on the computer. I like to cook and try new recipes. We enjoy camping also. I love stationery, labels and pens. Like M&M characters and merchandise, anything cooking related, anything unusual or different, etc. There's not much I don't like! I love to bargain shop,and dollar store and craft shopping, magazines, tea with caffiene (not coffee), cats, Halloween & Christmas, summer and hot weather, hand lotions, lip balm, cool websites, retro, food, nuts, chips & dips, and anything handmade or homemade. I love anything different and unusual, "off the wall" and out of the ordinary! I don't have a favorite color-love them all! I do prefer bold, earthy, bright colors over pastel colors. Have a dog that is spoiled and loved. He is a chihaha/terrier mix.

Favorite Music

I like many kinds of music, but I especially like classic rock, oldies and the older disco music. I like lots of different kinds of music from Aerosmith, The Cars, Elvis, Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, and any older rock to easy listening and Motown music, to Lady Gaga, Adam Lambert and Katie Perry.

Favorite Movies

I don't have a favorite movie, but like to watch comedy and dramas. I usually don't care for action-packed movies. I also like mysteries, thrillers, and horror.

Favorite Television

Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Dancing with the Stars, American Idol, The View, and Ellen.

Favorite Crafts

I love simple and general crafts.I like to go to craft and stationery sites on the computer. I like to make computer and paper crafts. I like to print stationery, address labels, enclosures, cards etc. I'll try almost any craft. I love to crochet. I like "off the wall" crafts. Love to make recycled crafts. I really enjoy receiving handmade items, they are my favorite!

Comment: got your great package and I must say you did quite a wonderful job! loved the cards and the smells in the pink box - some of my favs. And I can always use some new nail polish. But the funniest item was the gummy hearts - my hubby and I were just at the drugstore and when I picked up a bag of these he told me I didn't need them so I put them back. So it was so funny when I opened your package and there they were. So that goes to show that I really was meant to have them. Thanks again.

Comment: Wow! I love this. I was so happy to see all the chihuahua stuff especially, but everything in here was so neat. The handmade knitted? owl is amazing too! Comment: Wow! Another great package! And a Pez I don't have! Wish I could give you extra hearts for that! The pork chop spices is a cool idea — one I've never seen, but it sure sounds good. And I'm going to try at least three of the S'mores recipes! The flip flops are cute, as is the melon bag. And I can use the book at school. You can never have too many mirrors for your purse — or chapstick either! My mom loves lighthouses, so I'm going to try to make the bookmark for her. But it's been awhile since I've done any needlework. Thanks for an awesome swap!

Comment: OH MY WORD!!!!!!! You are now my most favorite Queen craftygirl...........I so look up to you! You keep amazing me beyond anything I could ever imagine! I love you, you are so sweet and so talented (even being sick, you are so awesome)! Love the light, the kids love the light!! I love my new bag. I am thinking of collecting seashells over the summer and filling it up and putting it in my bathroom. The coaster is awesome as I need them all over the house, as I have a mug of coffee going at ALL times during the day (and night)! Love your wrapping, my son Ryan read the funnies and said "these are for older people, like you mom!" ~ because he didn't get them LOL, he is so lucky I love him with every breath I take! Comment: Great pkg Loved all your choices. I've already picked some recipes from the cookbook to try. The mouse pad is great cause I'm always looking for paper to write on. cd is going in the car and I loved the "hands" Always can use labels.The keychain willl go to my daughters collection. Comment: Oh wow where do I start??? I should probably start off with the fact that I was shreiking with giddy excitement while I opened each pkg... You sent me a bday gift...THANK YOU so sweet and thoughtful!! Totally going to have fun making a tank top... Oh happiness the popcorn washcloth or mug rug is frakken fabulous!! The egg idea was genious!! Love it and all the little treats that came out of it. Love the martini recipes! I'm having a craft night tomorrow and we are making martinis!! Going to try a new recipe from the stash... love the lemonheads and the crazy erasers... Now I seriously have to tell you that the thing that made me the happiest was the.. (drumroll please) 8 tracks!!! Ok now don't laugh my husband is 13 yrs older than me and I had to first ask him if thats what they were and then I got really excited.. I have never seen one. I know crazy but really made me happy! Thank you so much!!!!

Your second box came today- how awesome are you for sending all those extra goodies and angeling the swap for me! That was such a wonderful and unexpected surprise. My students had a blast going through the box of stationery and have even written you a thank you letter (they wanted to write it on the fancy paper, of course!). I'll drop it in the mail as soon as soon as I find a stamp!

You really are an angel! Ohmygod, did I just use that term for real?! I now know I am getting old...only people over 40 call people "angel", I think! But you are so cool! I can't thank you enough for angeling the surprise me swap...it really WAS a surprise and I loved everything. Especially how it was all wrapped up, and to use my own profile to label things gave me kind of a weird ego boost for some reason. How utterly creative!
