I am quite dull sometimes.. :0) I love reading and daydreaming.. My head is in the clouds~~ (Sometimes..!) Oh, and I am not very good at describing myself.. :-P
I read a lot of non-fiction books, especially biographies.. One of my favourite books is 'Testament of Youth' by Vera Brittain.. I do read lit as well, though.. My favourite authors are Wodehouse and Waugh.. Double W..! And Maugham.. (But the sad thing about dead authors is that no new title will come from them, so you end up having to read the same titles again and again.. ) I also love reading novels by Haruki Murakami and Kazuo Ishiguro~~ Other favourites include 'Burmese Days' by George Orwell, 'I Capture the Castle' by Dodie Smith, 'The Malayan Trilogy' by Anthony Burgess, and 'Atonement'~~ :0)
Too many to mention here.. :-) I do like foreign movies a lot.. Some of my favourites are The Edukators, Amelie, A Very Long Engagement, Äideistä parhain, Pan's Labyrinth, and Good Bye Lenin! I simply adore reading subtitles~~ :0D
Sponge Bob SquarePants..!! The Simpsons, Heroes, Ugly Betty, The Office, My Name Is Earl.. Classic sitcoms such as Blackadder and Mind Your Language.. Documentaries.. I can be quite a couch potato~~
Trying out new flavours of tea.. The aroma of coffee.. Chocolates, especially chocolate truffles.. Writing mushy poetry.. Fruity lip balm/ lipgloss.. Collecting postcards (I love vintage postcards and postcards sold at art galleries..!).. Collecting books.. The scent of bookshops (Really!).. Art (I love Toulouse-Lautrec and Degas~~).. And reading~~ I love to read!
Pickled veggies and pickled fruits..!! Chocolates with weird flavours, like chili pepper.. Stuffed animals (The ones done by taxidermists.. Creepy!!).. Hip hop music.. :-P Romance books and chick lit (Nothing wrong with the genre; I just don't read them).. :-)
Origami!! :-)

Thank you so very much for the nice card, and note.
Just popped by to say thank you for the third random postcard! It is very beautiful.
Funnily enough - all my mail today came from Malaysia.
If you PM me your address, I'll send you something back.
Beth
Thanks for the "thank-you" PC. Very cool sepia pic and yes, the stamp is great. Wasn't expecting anything. You are the first person that's ever sent me a RAK. So appreciated and thoughtful.
Dear Hanis, you are a gem! What a lovely postcard of a 1930 Shanghai Calendar girl. It really reminded me of the beautiful film "In the mood for love" by Wong Kar-Wei, which was so beautiful and so sad all at the same time. I love Haruki Murakami and Kazuo Ishiguro too and I captured the Castle is one of my all time favourites. Have you read A Room With a View? I think you'd like that as well, hugs, Kim xoxo

The mailman brought me an unexpected surprise from you this morning. I love the card, for some reason it reminds me of Kandinsky! The colors I think. I love it, thank you so much! Mary
