About Me
I am a 27 year old lady-type. I am engaged to Frank, and will be getting married May 31, 2008. I spent 5 1/2 years in college training to be a high school English teacher, only to graduate and discover I really don't want to be a teacher. I'm currently wasting time being a call center wench until I can get up the nerve to try to get a better job.
I LOVE FANTASY! Dragons, Gnomes, Fairies, Mermaids, and any other fantasy creature rocks. I play role playing games such as D&D and White Wolf Games (mainly Aberrant and Exalted, not Vampire or Werewolf)
I like dark/twisted things, but not anything gory or blatant. I love taking Victorian pictures and altering it or giving it captions to mean something it's not meant to mean.
My favorite color is GREEN! Like the trees. I just love it.
Favorite Music
Elton John has been my favorite since I was about 12. I also love David Bowie, the Beatles, the Barenaked Ladies, and all kinds of other music including 60s 70s 80s 90s now. No rap or heavy metal. And definitely NO COUNTRY!
Favorite Books
My favorite book is Howl's Moving Castle, by Diana Wynne Jones. Other than fantasy novels I enjoy mystery and romance, as I can read them without having to spend too much time on deep thought. I spent enough time thinking about literature when I was in college!
Favorite Movies
While You Were Sleeping is my favorite movie. Hands down. I also love Labyrinth, Princess Bride, and all the Muppet movies. (Although the first three, when Jim Henson was alive are the best ones by far.) I like some mindless action, too.
Does anyone see a pattern? A "I don't like thinking too much" kind of pattern? Sigh I'm really not stupid...
Favorite Television
House MD is my favorite. I also watch American Idol with my mom. I like CSI and CSI Miami; also any other crime dramas such as Cold Case, Numbers and Without a Trace, but I don't watch anything on a regular basis except House.
Favorite Crafts
I do papercrafting with card making and tags. I am just starting to make ATCs, so am very interested in learning more about that. My collage skills have improved greatly since I started on swapbot. I have some ATCs I'm very proud of, actually.
