I lived in southern California with my husband and two teenagers, age 13 and 15. My oldest daughter is a freshman at UC Berkeley. I was born in Taiwan and have being in the US for more than 20 years. I like to make things and try new crafts. My favorite craft materials are paper and fabric. I like various shades of orange and blue. I've spent more time crocheting recently, making amigurumi and some quick projects. I'm also trying my hands in art journal, hand-carved stamps and felt mascots.
Classical music and movie soundtracks. When I'm driving, I listen to NPR's The Story, This American Life, Car Talk, A Prairie Home Companian, etc.
Mary and Max, The Secret of Kells, Julie and Julia, Up, Amelie, The Cat Returns, My Neighbor Totoro, Stanger than Fiction.
I don't have much time to watch TV nowadays. I've enjoyed 30-minute meal, Unwrapped, Rachael Ray and Carol Duvall Show.
origami, scrapbooking, handmade book, papertole, crochet, beading, applique, sock animal, felt mascot.
paper or fabric with mermaid, fairy, cupcake, cat, cute animal, cute angel designs

Hi! I saw you like beading so I thought you might like to see the card I recently made with beading on it. Beaded Morning Glory Card Hope you like it! I'd love to try art journalling but I'm a bit too A-type, perfectionist to make it work but that's exactly why I need it. Hope you have fun with it! You must be a saint to live with 3 teenagers. Whew! I also enjoy movie soundtracks especially musicals. My fave is Chicago.
Rebecca Comment on profile swap
Hello, here is my comment for the "Read my profile and write a comment" swap. A while ago , once upon a time, yes ... I was very busy with crocheting. Sometimes I think I could make myself a pair of slippers (a wish of me is to have crochet slippers). Never got to it! But it is the first time I hear of amigurumi. I love it! You are talented with all the crafts going. Keep it up! We share scrapbooking as point of interest. Hope you do well.
Thank you for the great profile comment. We should do a dotee doll swap together sometime. It could be fun.

Hi there! I am one of your partners for "Read my profile and write a comment" swap. I hope this msg finds you doing well :) Fromw hat I read of your profile, it seems you have many talents in creating. I had to look up amigurumi - very cute! I don't know how to crochet or do some of the crafts you listed. I enjoy drawing, but would like to be as handy with making things as you seem to be. Orange and blues are a fantastic combination, btw! Nice colors. I just got some mermaid paper from a fellow swapper - I had never seen it before. I love mermaid very much! Have you received fabric with mermaids on it? How could would that be and unique! Anyway, thanks for sharing a bit about yourself with us..happy swapping and have fun trying new crafts :D
Hi! I'm leaving a comment for the "Read my profile and write a comment" swap.
Crochet, Faeries, and Teenagers are some of my favorites too! I've been crocheting since I was old enough to hold a hook, I think. I have 2 teen age boys. I like faeries a lot!
