Okay, I have to update this site. My new love is felting and making items with felt. I am loving it. I really enjoy creating art. When I am not crafting I enjoy reading, watching movies and spending time with my family. I live with my 18 yr old daughter and my boyfriend of the last 1 1/2. I also have 2 sons, 1 daughter-in-law, 1 grandson 3 yrs old and my 11 month old granddaughter. I do love receiving homemade items...which is why this site is so great.
I had my leg amputated 4 yrs ago after a very minor injury 7 years ago that developed into a big problem. Since then I have been fortunate enough to be able to do crafts and play with the grandkids. Last year I took beginning ballroom dancing lessons and learned how to ski bike.
I am into fantasy series. I love reading and currently am reading Kelley Armstrong. I also read murder mysteries and who done-its.
In non-fiction I love reading craft books. I just got "Pretty Little Pin Cushions" and Beginner's Guide to Feltmaking. Of course they came right after I make my first felt items for swaps.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith, The Notebook, The Bourne Series, all the Die Hard movies, especially the newest one. I loved Transformers and Stardust. Great classics are Independence Day, Stepmom and Titanic.
Grey's Anatomy, Survivor, Moonlight, Desperate Housewives, NCIS, Private Practice, and ER to name several. Dancing with the Stars, Survivor and Kid Nation are some of the reality series I watch.
Felt, felting and making things with felt. Did I mention felt? I also love sewing and fabric ATC's. I create with Polymer Clay, beads, wire and dominoes to name a few. I have also used Precious Metal Clay and Fine Metal.
I am really loving pinks, yellows and orange all mixed together. I love rich olive type greens. I also like pretty much any rich vibrant colors. Dark blue, brown and burgundy are examples of a few. Turquoise and purple are also beautiful. Basically...if you make an item out of your favorite color I will love it. Just tell me it is your favorite and it will be special and go for me.
I like frogs, small ceramic or metal. I also like fairies & flowers.

I love jewelry...making it and receiving it.
I love chocolate, coffee, and tea.

package on it's way to you for a swap you'd probably given up on(mailed saturday. may be there already). not sure you'll see this, considering your last log-in date, but maybe you're just one of those who stays logged on, and will see it. have a great day!
Hi Sissy, Thanks again for talking me into trying Swap-bot. The bestest present I could have gotten and the timing was perfect. You know how badly I needed something. It makes me to finish projects that I start. I have met so many great people. The swaps themselves cause me to stretch my wings creatively and in directions that I would have not thought of on my own. Give everyone my love, Your Sissy Linda
Thank you for sending me the big stack of rolodex cards and the pretty skeleton leaves! I can't wait to try it out.

Hi Sissy, I signed up for the springtime fabric ATC swap. When I looked at it last night I thought the sign up date was past. Love, Your sissy (the brainless twit).
