I spend most of my time with my two kids and husband. I love running, biking, cross country skiing, skiing, hiking, and working out. I volunteer at my kids school, One, and World concern. I am a mixed media artist and mom who uses social media (twitter, facebook) to promote my art and nonprofit organizations, especially those that have a focus of supporting medicine, maternal health, human rights, education, and feeding the hungry at home and abroad. My mom has been recently diagnosed with stage four lung cancer and I am currently learning more about this awful disease, and trying to emotionally support my mother through this time. Currently I am making (binding) journals, zines, journaling, painting, drawing and practicing my crocheting skills. I'm involved in some art groups online - atcs for all, Traci Bautistas ning group creativity unleashed, Etsy cottage ning group, and Creative Souls ning group. I have an Etsy shop and most of my art and crafts are pictured on Flickr.
